I have not visited the hotel, only that spa and can highly recommend. The facilities are outstanding and the heated our door pool an experience that is quite amazing. I love the outdoor pool so much that I have taken out a membership. Children are only permitted to use the pool for a few hours in the afternoon, which is very welcome, the pool and spa areas are so peaceful.
This hotel needs no introduction, it's situated minutes walk from Princes Street, yet tucked away from the busy streets. The joy of comfort and peacefulness. Recommend for shopping getaway, couples or business. Booked the Executive Club Room with One Spa access. Business Lounge is decent, serving cookies and coffee/tea throughout the day. It's of good size too, but at busy times it does get full. Drink and food choice could be improved. The room was great, situated on the Club floor (high floor). Very quiet, although could hear chatter from the adjacent room, probably due to room linking doors that don't have good sound-proofing. Final thoughts: it's good value for the service, rooms and facilities at the hotel. It's a must visit if in Edinburgh and want the ultimate escape and comfort.
Breakfasts were really great. My room was confortable although very bland, no luxury features and not very big (for a 5 star hotel). The food at the bar was great. Location is excellent too. I didn't use the SPA so can't say anything about it. The outside look is not great but the inside decoro is very stilish.
Yeah you could save a few quid and stay in an overpriced Premier Inn, but sometimes you have to splash out. Lovely room, comfortable bed, friendly staff and an outstanding breakfast. Gin was a bit expensive, but you only live once.
This Sheraton is very convenient. Immediatly in front of the Castle, and near the city center. It is especially good if your convention is in the nearby Convention Center. Good spa, uneventful check-in and out, good wi-fi, helpful concierge. It lacks the wow factor, though. The walls are thin, and you will be able to hear (or be heard by) your neighbor.
We have visited the spa before but this was our first time staying in a room. We opted for the club rooms with the club lounge where the canapes were very tasty. The room was very comfortable and spacious with a fantastic bathroom. The spa is fantastic and as part of the club room deal we will be back again.
Ahh, this was such a pleasant stay. The staff goes way above and beyond their duty. We were there for a special occasion and they made sure it was memorable. The room was modern without being generic, nice subtle touches of Scottish elements in the design. The restaurant is amazing, not what you expect from a hotel restaurant. Try their gin. I literally have nothing negative to say.
We stayed at the Sheraton Grand for three nights last months. I found this hotel ranks high among the Sheraton standards, which I have enjoyed many times around the world. Reception & Concierge are both friendly and professional. Breakfast is fantastic, and the restaurant offer is not very wide, but unbeatable in quality/price ratios. Last, but not leat, they offer a great fitness room. I did not try the spa, but people coming out of it seem to have enjoyed it.
Huge room. Amazing location and the staff were fab.loved the bathroom lighting too. Such a comfy bed and no noise from next door. We ate out at night and had so much to choose from. would return again in a heatbeat
