Blooms is in the middle of temple bar so is a great location to get around the city. We walked to Jameson, guiness, and several museums. The St Patrick parade was very close. The location of the hotel is great but the actual hotel room was lacking. The room was very hot when we got in and there was nothing to do to fix that. We turned the heat off but there is no A/C that I could find and no windows to open. The beds are tiny twin beds with uncomfortable pillows. The shower had good pressure and a nice shower head but no wash clothes for the entire week. The television was very small with no options for premium channels.

Overall, very happy with our stay. The hotel is located in Temple Bar, very close to an Airlink 747 stop (inexpensive shuttle to/from the airport). Walking distance to many of central Dublin attractions.

Hotel room was very clean and live music at bar price was reasonable and love the location . Walking distance to shopping and restaurant and bar .

The hotel had a strong sewer odor when we arrived but aired out after a while. The room did not have an obvious way to control the temperature. Also, the walls are thin and everything from the noisy streets and hallway can be heard all night long. Becides that the staff was friendly and the beds were very comfortable. Great location in temple bar area walking distance to bars, restaurants, and bus.

While this hotel is centrally located it needs lots of updates. Most of the staff was unfriendly until we complained about the mold spotted around our door that didn't have a lock. Staff said it locked with a Skelton key but they were not able to lock it. While Temple Bar is fun for nightly entertainment, I would head up the street to Jury's Inn across from ChristChurch which is an equally good location. Very disappointing.

Very loud until early morning. beds and pillows quite uncomfortable/hard

Very touristy here but a nice place to stay for a few days especially if you want to party

Nice room, comfy bed, good bathroom, outstanding bar, excellent food - coffee a bit weak.

The Blooms Hotel was disappointing. Our check in was slow, which would have been okay. But the front desk staff was not friendly or courteous. Our room reminded me of a hostel or college dorm room. The bed and pillows were not comfortable. The shower floor was chipping as were multiple places on the walls. We hung the "do not disturb" sign on our room since we did not need to have the room made up. We returned to a bag of trash outside our room and a roll of toilet paper on our door handle. The hotel is located in Temple Bar, so it was conveniently located. We were not surprised that it was noisy all night. Our bigger issue was that the room was not well maintained, the bed wasn't comfortable and it didn't feel clean. We couldn't use the teapot because it was filthy. Also, we were coming back to the hotel to eat in the adjoining restaurant, but there was vomit (mid afternoon) just outside the door. We decided to walk around through the other entrance and made it two steps in before the smell of vomit made us turn around and leave. This place would probably be great for traveling students or people who will be partying in Temple Bar and stumbling back to their hotel to pass out. Needless to say, I cannot recommend staying here.

the location is great, but the noise from the street level is very loud throughout the night, especially if you have the windows open in summer like we did, since there is no AC

It was located in good area. Overall experience was nice.

Beds are terrible and whole room was not cleaned propely. Some days our room was not cleaned at all. Bathroom had broken shelves so I we weren't able to put stuff anywhere. Avoid.

This price in this location really can't be beat. The room was small, very loud on Saturday night, but that's to be expected in Temple Bar. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We loved staying in the Temple Bar area. The hotel met our expectations for the price. We walked to a few of the bars in the area which had great live music. The locals were very nice to us and we're fun people to hang out with!

Noisy is an understatement here. We were on the 5th floor and it was like the partiers were right outside our room window all night it was so loud. I understand it is a party area, but then the bar starts cleaning out all the empty bottles from the night at about 6am, and then the empty kegs at 7am so the only break from the noise is from about 3:30 am to 5:30am. The room was tiny, even for Europe, and all white with no décor. The beds are on wheels and slide away from the wall at night so your pillows slip into the dust bunnies between the bed and the wall. Overall, I have stayed at 2 other hotels in the Temple Bar area and would recommend either of them over this one any day.

Pretty much the staff was the best part of this hotel. My dad and I didn't rent a car and wanted to relay on public transportation so we asked the staff how to go about that. They were so helpful in looking up times and the most convenient train and bus rides so by the second day we pretty much had it all down and traveled all across the country with ease! They also gave great advice of places to see and do in the city. The room was kept very clean, great cleaning staff. The beds were a little small and firm for my tastes but it is Europe so I was expecting that. The shower was a little under pressured but again didn't really mind. Other then that the room was great. Had a great view and a great little tea maker. Location couldn't be better. You're right in the heart of all the activity and the music! You have countless bars and restaurants to choose from all within a block or two of cobble stone streets which screamed Ireland! If you plan on enjoying numerous pints and listen to fantastic music you'll be a kid in a candy store here! Top notch hotel. Couldn't have been happier with my experience!

The location was perfect for walking all of Dublin and hanging out in Temple Bar. Do not stay here if you require quiet to sleep. Band played until 1.

Location was great Water pressure in shower was terrible No blinds Staff was friendly

The location of this hotel was fabulous! Right in the heart of Temple Bar! There's a club and a bar downstairs, so I wouldn't recommend staying there (at least on the first floor) on the weekend...Music was blaring until about 2 am on a Saturday night when I stayed there. Otherwise, the hotel was great for the price and location.

The location was the best thing about it. It is on a very hard to find street. I called three times to get directions and the man on the phone did not seem to care if we got there or not. He gave no directions and after 3 hours we finally found because the locals couldn't even tell us how to get there. The elevators stink something fierce and the shower while it looked clean it smelled of mildew. Hold on that is not the worst! Our first room was facing the street and we didn't get any sleep because of everyone whooping and hollering until way up in the morning. The next night we were moved to another room (it was prepaid) and while the noise was a little better it was still noisy at times. No air conditioning so when you close the window it is hot. So either way you suffer. I am not a picky person so that is why I chose the hotel. From now on I will be pick and heed some of the warning I read. I hope this is helpful because it is the honest truth.
