Excellent room, very spacious. Terrible pillows though. Convenient location just 6min from airport

The staff was amazing and did everything to make the stay better but the lodging was sub par. The apartment was run down and fuses kept blowing. In a two week, stay both the washing machine and microwave broke. The shower had very little water pressure and the bathroom was extremely outdated. It was like staying in a college dorm room from the 80's. The saving grace for this place is location and staff. It's in a great spot that is walkable to almost anywhere you want. Overall it was an average experience with the apartment. The whole building needs renovation ASAP. There is another stay city two blocks down that have much better accommodations. I would recommend staying in that one over the Christ Church location.

This was a great stay for us. We travelled as a family of four (2 adults, 2 children ages 11 and 13). We enjoyed a full 2-bedroom apartment with living room & kitchen, a very comfortable size for our family. It's very well located - not exactly City Center but a short walk to Trinity College. Excellent value for the money.

We stayed here for a few days and loved it! It was the perfect location: a few minute walk to the city center and all the main sites, but far enough away that there was very little street noise. Loved having our own space, kitchen, and washer. The front desk staff was okay, but not super helpful. We had booked a one bedroom for three guests, but we were somehow upgraded to a two bedroom, top floor, corner apartment with fantastic views. Overall, great stay. Would definitely stay again.

Overall good' European ideas of Sowers is a little odd.

Lodging in Dublin is expensive, so although Staycity seemed expensive to us, it was actually reasonably priced for the area. Staff were very helpful and location was perfect. Minutes away from Temple bar area, churches, and tourist attractions. A few things we'd like to see changed: The internet was difficult to use and required us to change our email send server in order to send an email. There was no coffee maker or plunger. Kitchen items sparse overall. Bedrooms were tiny.

I like the staycity for its location and amenities. It's a decent place to stay and a good value while in Dublin.

I take nothing back from the first review written but again for the third day in the row I had the front desk banging on the door telling me I was to be checked out. Rudely today one asked me about my booking, who and when I booked it as if she didn't believe . That alone has me to realize with such unprofessional behavior I won't be back here after this Ireland trip. I would rather stay with my family in Tallaght and Inchicore than to deal with that sort of behavior....

The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. They went out if their way to help with an early check in, luggage storage and information of local events, entertainment and shopping. Always friendly and and on call 24/7. There was never a time that an attendant wasn't available to help with any if my concerns. It is also placed in an ideal location that situates you between temple bar, yours, landmarks and nightlife near Dawson Street. Although dear I would definetly book at this location again. I mean the view alone breathtaking as it is was priceless...

This is a very convenient place to stay while in Dublin. Nice amenities and within walking distance to much. Affordable as well.

Great location and very pleased overall. When I travel again with my sons we will look to see if the city we travel has a Stay city.

I was in Dublin to visit my son who is going to school there. Staycity was in good walking distance to many of the sites. I also used a Hop On Hop Off tour bus and this was located not too far from several of the stops. Having the kitchen was good, because it saved money on going out to eat. The only real problem I ad was that the washing machine in my room didn't work, but the staff let me use an available room to do my laundry one night. They also did attempt to contact me to swap out machines, but I was out for the day and checking out the next day. Very comfortable, my room had a deck off the living room overlooking Harris St. directly across fro St. Audoen's Church.

I wouldn't call this a typical 4 star hotel, as it was far from luxurious. A funny smell permeated most of the building and our apartment (paint, bug spray?). Luckily, I had some febreeze and the ability to open the windows for fresh air. This made the smell manageable. The building as a whole was dated, capet in the hall was stained, and just had a general feel of needing refreshed. However, we were thrilled to have our own full kitchen, complete with microwave, pots n pans, dishes, a kettle, plates, silverware and the like. A 4-seater dinette table is in the living room along with a couch and TV and even a balcony! The king bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows and a duvet...although we never found a top sheet or duvet cover. We were fine with the typical Irish bathrom (electric shower---be sure you plan multiple showers around turning the hot water heater on In advance.) We were extremely happy with the location: just a few blocks to Temple Bar, the river, George street, and all the fun in Dublin. Those blocks made for easy walks to the city but separated just enough to alllow for peaceful night's sleep. All in all, StayCity will be our go-to for accommodations on any future trips to Dublin. Price, location, kitchen.

The location was within walking distance to just about everything. There were plenty of grocers and butchers near by to purchase fantastic food from. While the kitchen was stocked with a variety of plates and cutlery, there were no skillets and the knives were pretty dull. You may want to bring a few things for cooking, but if you don't you can still make do with what is provided.

Amazing bargain. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with a living room that had a small balcony overlooking the town. Even had a kitchen with a washing machine! Cost us half the price of any other hotel in town too. Almost too good to be true.

Though difficult for our cabbie to find, when we arrived, the accommodations were great! We had a family room with a great view of Christ Church and more! I had some questions about what to do in Dublin and the staff was very friendly and helpful. There was even a surprise laundry machine in our room. We did not have any laundry soap and the staff kindly let us use some that they happened to have on hand. Great place!

This is a hard property to find. The building is marked citystay or something like that. It was nice having a apartment, however, some of out windows didn't open, and the room was stuffy. There was no shampoo or hair dryer, so if you plan on staying here, bring your own.

It would have been helpful if the sign for the hotel was larger and more visible. It was very hard to find. Thank goodness the web page had a picture of the architecture over the door or we would not have found it.

The apartments were perfectly located in the city centre of Dublin. Right down the street is Temple Bar area with tons of places to eat and drink. Just about a 1/2 mile walk to Guinness Storehouse, a few blocks away from the oldest bar and of course Christ Church Cathedral is less than 1/2 block away. Apartment was exactly as described and was a comfortable stay for the entire family.

Good location for sight seeing. Close to Christchurch, St. Patricks Cathedral, Guiness, on the tour bus lines, Temple Square, etc. Nice to have a kitchen and washer/dryer, BUT the lobby, hallways, stairways, elevator, all not in good condition. Building in need of a fresh paint job and new carpeting. The room, too, in desperate need of some TLC. Things are broken, carpet worn, smell of mildew, not well cleaned, along with being a noisy building on a noisy street. Windows didn't quite work. Stove door missing from one room. Washer door broken in another. Yes I was crazy enough to book it twice with a break in between for a trip to Western Ireland, where I was reminded how nice a hotel could be. I've stayed in apartments in other European Cities, but this was the worst. By the last night there was a leak and the carpet was soaked. There was a promise of a partial refund for the problems, but I haven't seen it yet. I visited the office (in another building a few blocks away) several times to complain about various issues. Run the other way...
