We arrived too early for check in but were able to store our bags there and go explore the city for a few hours. We went back to the hotel and were able to check in early. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast ( reasonable extra charge) was good.

This is the second time that I have stayed here. Everything went fine the last time that I was here. However, last Saturday I had requested a wake up call for 5:00 a.m. on Sunday, for my departure. I did not receive said wake up call. Luckily I awoke at 7:00 a.m. and rushed out -I barely made my flight. No apologies at the front desk...

Overall experience was pretty good. Staff was helpful and quick to attend to our requests. We did find the room too warm and had to keep the window open all the time. Would have been nice to be able to adjust the temperature.

The hotel has no air condition. I think that is common in Ireland but when we were there it was hot! Hotel was clean but just be aware it is a fifteen minute walk to the bar scene. Only other issue was that when we asked hotel to get us a taxi, they did not tell us there was a extra 3 bucks cause the hotel gets a fee!

The location was great because we were away from the noise and the hustle and bustle of downtown Dublin, but we were still in walking distance to get there. The hotel room was great, we were upgraded to a balcony room, the only negative is that the entire hotel complex does NOT have air conditioning. The hotel staff mentioned it was unusually hot during the few days we were in Dublin and that the hotel does not have air conditioning because it usually does not get that warm, but unfortunately this led our room to be uncomfortable.

The hotel was clean, very nice staff, and the balcony view of the courtyard was very nice. The location of the hotel was great right across from Jameson distillery

Location was great, close to bus stops and places to eat. Very nice lobby. Comfortable room and nice bathroom. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable on places to visit. The TV was not a flat screen other than that, I would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Everything here was very good. I would stay again. Quiet side of the river. Good location right next to the Jameson factory!!

The hotel staff was very helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and at a great price. My only complaint was the pillows were like bricks. A minor inconvenience since the location was good--easy access to DART and bus. I would recommend it!

This hotel is located about 15 minute's walk from Dublin's main street and is also located on the Red Luas (tram) line. The Smithfield area where the hotel is located has been renovated in recent years, so there are lots of new buildings in the area. In terms of the hotel itself, the reception area is relatively small, but there is a bar/restaurant which also seems to double as the breakfast area. The rooms are well furnished and look to have been recently decorated. Some rooms have a balcony and if you are on a high enough floor, you can get a nice view of the city. There is good free wifi. Modern large screen TV but the channel selection is a bit limited. There is a large convenience store next to the hotel which seems to stay open long hours. There are also a few restaurants and bars within a couple of minutes walk, but you may prefer to go to a more central area for nightlife. Overall, not a bad choice.

it's close enough to walk to wherever you want to go which works well for me. Hotel was nice and a good value in what seems to be a pricey city.

This is a really nice hotel and it is located about a block from the tram line and within walking distance of many Dublin sights. Our room was clean and the staff were courteous and took good care of us. Our only concern was the beds and the pillows in our room. One bed was creaky and both beds were firmer then we would prefer. The pillows were thinner and firmer then we would prefer. We were still comfortable enough to sleep well however.

This hotel is in a quiet neighborhood, only a short tram ride from many tourist sites which made it convenient. The staff are friendly enough. The rooms, however ,need some attention. For starters, there is no A/C in the rooms. Second, the carpets and walls need a deep cleaning! There was a faint smell of urine in one corner of the room. The tv did not work, not a big deal for me but the sports addicts missed their fix. Skip the hotel restaurant, there are better options within walking distance.

The hotel is OK, but the rooms require renovation. Staff is absolutely unfriendly. One day they did not service my room and then when I requested some compensation, they simply laughed at me. I will never ever come back to this hotel again.

nice staff. but the beds are too small. there was something wrong with the light in the room they had to fix. and the sink didnt work well. a bit dissapointed from the hotel. and the biggest dissapointment is reception didnt know what is "all star hotel: and this hotel is all star hotel . all the program is about loyalty and this hotel probably doesnt respect this programm of this website.

Lesley and Maurice customer service was top notch. My luggage was sent to a different country( thanks United) and Lesley did whatever she could to keep me calm and helped with regards to making contact with the airlines. Maurice made sure I had a comfortable room and the housekeeping staff was great at making sure our rooms were clean even on the days we slept in. The location was perfect, the city center is in walking distance, everything is actually. Maybe not for the out of shape. Thanks to the staff, with all the mishaps and error on the airlines part, they made a bad situation better. Thank you very much .

No complaints here! The staff were absolutely amazing!

Nice modern clean hotel. Rooms are decent. Very clean. Grocery store right next door. Ten minute walk to Capel street. Beside luas Good location.

We chose this for location (out of the craziness of Temple Bar or more expensive places to the south) and price. It was a nice place to stay in a more local area--you get a feel of what it would be like to live in Dublin. You can't miss with the Luas nearby to get you closer to the action, but Dublin is small and walkable, too. The one odd thing is a booming noise from the square in the morning (Jameson barrels being loaded, maybe?). Recommend!

If you are looking to visit Guinness, Jamison and St. Patrick's Cathedral you can't go wrong by staying at this very nice hotel. Staff are helpful and professional, Rooms were very clean. The have a nice Irish breakfast in the morning. In addition there are markets and cafe's very close to the hotel. Temple Bar District is only a bus or cab ride away.
