The castle was beautiful and had an amazing feeling about it. There was a wedding that went till 4 am and we could hear them partying all night. That may be normal for the culture but different for us.

I loved this property and the location, however there was a Christmas party happening and it was impossible to find a seat at the bar. The Fahrenheit grill was out of our budget so we had to go elsewhere to find dinner which was unfortunate.

The property was gorgeous and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful! They made our stay extra special. One thing we didn’t like and would have loved to have known in advance was the construction and holiday party noise. Made it hard to relax and sleep and night.

The property was great. However after making the reservation for two rooms 8 months ahead of time, I received multiple emails from Orbitz starting 4 days before our arrival date that the reservation was cancelled due to overbooking. After frantically searching, we found another hotel to book. Then two days before the reservation, I received an email from Orbitz saying disregard previous e-mails. Fortunately we were able to cancel the new booking. I don't know if this mess was caused by Orbitz or by the hotel, but it was a near disaster.

I loved the modern amenties built in around the remnants of the castle, it made for a unique and beautiful entrance and lobby area. The food was delicious and the room felt luxurious. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to others.

Part of the hotel is an original castle , has a beautiful lobby and bar area. The room we had was good size and bright decor. We had no complaints.

It had stated on the web site there was a pool, there isn't. Only down side

As the last night of our honeymoon trip, I was determined to stay in a castle! Clontarf was the perfect spot. We were so tired at this point that we just enjoyed the room, the Knight's Bar for dinner and drinks, and the Fahrenheit restaurant for breakfast in the morning. It was nice to have these amenities in-house since this is a less walkable neighborhood than our earlier-in-the-trip stay in Ballsbridge neighborhood.

Loved our stay at this hotel! Our room had part of the original castle wall - such a great start to our Ireland vacation. Hotel staff were fantastic and responded to our requests within minutes. Loved all the castle ambiance. Food at the hotel bar was delicious, and again, the service was fantastic. Easy to get to by car from the Dublin airport. Would definitely recommend, 100%!

The place was stunning, staff was great and location was perfect.

Clean and comfy. Loved it. Love the old castle feel.
