Located in a busy area, lots of restaurants and shopping close by. Loud street sounds during the evening, perhaps close to bars. The room was small, clean and had everything you would need, except for wash clothes. The staff was very friendly and helpful with information.

It was OK. Centric, perfect for a short stay in Dublin or its surroundings.

Central location, cheap, friendly staff who let us directly into the car park before we checked in which made arrival easy. Room small and nothing fancy but perfect for price point.

Super good Hotel and it's and the location it's nice . It's not a fancy hotel, but for the price it's really good!

Good hotel that does everything right but nothing amazing. Really good location for starting your day in Dublin.

The room was in terrible condition. Three light fixtures were broken, the window mount was broken and the window would not close completely. The shower drained very slowly and almost overflowed while showering. In another room the toilette seat was not fastened properly and would shift. Since the window did not close completely the sounds of drunk people on the street below was heard nightly. The breakfast was ok, ordinary, and priced more than all of the restaurants near the hotel. The staff gladly received our requests to make repairs in our rooms, however, the repairs were never done. The beds and rooms were made up perfectly and very clean, and quite comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and gave us great tips on what to see and hop on and hop off tickets for the bus. They are doing their best working at this substandard property. The Hotel should be avoided until rooms have basic repairs are done. The food manager should evaluate their service, quality and food with the local restaurants to determine a price in line with the area that the Hotel is in. This hotel was highly recommended by friends, but sadly does not meet basic standards of lodging.

The biggest selling point for the hotel is it's location. It's just minutes from Temple Bar and Trinity College. There were tons of sights, restaurants, bars and clubs well within walking distance. Also, the fact that it had parking (although limited) was awesome. The room was nothing special, but overall, for the price paid it was a good value for a great location. The two downsides: the bathroom is pretty small (though it's pretty standard for most European accommodations that I have stayed in), meaning that the shower was barely bigger than my shoulders and you might have some trouble if you're a light sleeper- due to it's location, the street seemed pretty noisy at all hours.

The location is fantastic. The value for the price equally fantastic. It is not a fancy place. The lobby is simple; the amenities are few, and there is some noise and voices you can hear in the hall and through the walls but minimal. We slept fine! Have to mention--the customer service was wonderful. They were helpful with ideas and directions; they were very friendly and always available. We went in January, and they graciously gave us a family suite-- a large room with windows for fresh air and a great little heater that warmed the room up really well. The little water heater made making tea in the mornings (along with some pastries we'd find the day before in the city) simply lovely. Water was hot; there was a tub! And, using Dublin City Inn on Talbot St as a home base for day trips in and out or to come and go in the city was perfect. Highly recommended. We had a wonderful experience.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Perfect location.

rooms are small, but it is near all the sites,as well as Luas trams and buses, about 5min from AirLink bus stop to airport.Staff was helpful.

This was a great find! It's really wonderfully situated. If you take the bus from the airport to the central station, it's a 5 minute walk... If that! And the bus is pretty cheap. The staff were wonderful and watched our bags until we could check in so that we could go do a tour. They also arranged for a cab at 430am, kudos to them! They even gave my friend and I 2 single beds instead of 1 double! It was a nice change for the better! It's pretty simple, but if you just need a place to sleep it's perfect. There are lots of pubs and restaurants nearby, and you can walk across the canal in 15 min, so you can get whatever. There are cool 2 euro stores nearby for any toiletries, candies, or fun stuff that you may need. Go for it, it's great!!

We stayed at Dublin City Inn from June 12 to the 18. It is in a perfect location and within walking distance of just about everything you would want to see. The major bus company with the hop on/off and multiple other tours was just a few blocks away. The room was tiny, literally we had enough room to walk on each side of the bed and that's it but there was a safe which was nice. We weren't worried too much about the size since we weren't there to spend out timke in the room. The building is secure and the staff need to buzz you in and out. Overall I enjoyed our stay and would go back.

the hotel was in the heart of dublin. easy walk to every tourist attraction in dublin. mass transit with in walking distance also.

My husband is well over 6 ft, and the shower is exceptionally small. The beds are not comfy, and at the end of the bed, there is hardly any walking space. The location was walking distance to O'Connor and we had no problem getting around. We also found our favorite pub on the same street. The staff, is unbelievably exceptional. Helpful , Kind , Courteous in every way. The also have a very comfortable sitting area, inside, and outside also. If they had new beds, and a different shower head for better water flow, I would do it again. Otherwise, I would pop in and say hello to the amazing staff and take them lunch!

It was a perfect hotel if you're not looking for anything fancy. Nice and quaint, with a great location close to everything in city centre. Would definitely stay here on a return trip to Dublin!

Excellent location and safe area. Windows were difficult to open and close but room was reasonably clean. Helpful staff permitted early check-in and discount on sightseeing bus. Easy connections to LUAS (street car) and main shopping area O'Connell Street. Would definitely stay here again!

We found the staff to be very helpful and accommodating. We could easily walk to all the major sites in Dubllin, including several incredible eateries and pubs (be sure to check out the Guiness at The Celt!).

The hotel was very accommodating, we arrived early from NYC and we were able to check-in early. The room was small, but adequate for ending the day. The free Wi-Fi did not work in the room, so we ended up sitting in the hallway to use the internet. The free parking was great, but the hotel only has 6 spots and it’s a first come first serve. We didn’t have to use the car because the hotel is located within walking distance to all the tourist spots in Dublin. We did use the car on the last day to go to Cork to see Blarney Castle, but there wasn’t a parking issue when we returned, maybe it was because it was Sunday. I would stay here again because of the location, but I would look around for similar priced hotels first. All in all a fabulous trip!

We were on holiday. Mainly sight seeing by day and enterainment at night. Many things we wanted to see and do were within walking distance of the hotel.
