Check in was so accommodating. Had luggage drop off until our room was ready, which was before check in time. Had ponchos (complimentary) for rainy days. The check in clerk even upgraded our room since it was a twin and my husband & I preferred a queen. Hueston Station was across the street so we were able to take a bus from the airport. Would highly recommend.

We checked in early, they upgraded our room. Hotel was conveniently located near the Guinness storehouse just a five minute taxi ride from Temple bar. Perfect location to be out of the craziness.

This hotel is not close to the city center but there is tram next to the hotel that would take you there.. it is convenient .. they don’t have ac in room but when we open windows, it’s enough to cool the room.. I would stay here again

Outstanding hotel and great food. Would stay there again.

Clean and comfortable Decent breakfast Post modern look so may seem dated to some Not too far a walk to downtown Bathrooms are updated Bed very comfortable

My husband and I arrived in Dublin without our luggage due to an issue at Schipol Airport. While eating dinner, our waiter, Dylan, over heard us discussing our woes. He went and got the restaurant manager Jamie, who proceeded to round up adapters for us so we could at least charge our phones. Dylan then again went above and beyond and made sure we had a sack breakfast to take to our early morning train tour. While checking out, they cleared our phone charges because they knew we had just been calling the airlines about our missing bags. The staff here is amazing and go above and beyond to be caring people. The room was stellar. The bed extremely comfortable. The shower felt like we were walking in a rain forest. There was no street noise and we had a street facing room with a lovely view of the Liffey. We ate two meals at the restaurant, one in the fancy restaurant and one in the bar. They were both wonderful and very tasty. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

We had nice stay in this hotel, were happy when they let us to check in earlier after being long time on the road.Stuff is very helpful .Location is great if you want to stay close enough to all attractions and be away from crowd.

Great staff very helpful. Hotel was clean and very comfortable

nice hotel in a good section for Dublin sightseeing trips

It's very convenient to move around Dublin. Just a walk away you can take the tram to the city center, the Hop On Hop Off buses, the airlink that goes in 20 minutes to the airport and the 145 bus that crosses al the major sights (Trinity, the General Post Office and so on). Beware: after 9:30 pm there is no place in the sorroundings (neither at the hotel) for having a proper dinner

Had parking which alit didn't have even tho you pay extra it's worth it.

This hotel is amazing. Super nice, clean, accommodating, comfortable, and great location. This hotel is right by the train and bus station (literally 2 minute walk). The beds are comfortable. The room is super clean. They have ice machines available (which is super rare). They provide all sorts of bathroom supplies including washcloths (also super rare). The staff was beyond kind and helpful. The breakfast was super good - don't skip the breakfast!!!

The Ashling Hotel had wonderful staff, was very clean, and was near two major forms of transportation (Houston train station and the Luas streetcar line). Using these, we were able to get everywhere we needed to go. They are also within walking distance of several restaurants, a convenience store, and attractions like the Guinness Storehouse, Cropping Acre Memorial Park, and The National Museum of Ireland. We felt safe and secure, and they even had a doorman during the nighttime hours. The best part was there generosity. They sent us up some complimentary champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries on our first day after finding out we were there on our honeymoon. We would absolutely recommend this hotel, and would not stay anywhere else if we ever find ourselves bank in Ireland again.

Everyone was very friendly and efficient! A perfect experience- liked it that there was always a taxi out front!

Excellent hotel, great location near transportation & town centre. Good restaurant too.

The room, restraraunt and bar were all excellent. The staff was very helpful.

Nice hotel. Walking distance to everything. Very close to the train station and bus stop for the airport. Staff was very helpful in assisting us in how to get around town

Located on a hill a comfortable walk from town center. Lovely view. Quiet. Beautifully appointed and maintained facility. VERY COMFORTABLE BEDS. Friendly, helpful engaging staff. We forgot something and staff mailed it on as requested to our hotel in Dublin. Food was excellent on Sunday and good on Monday in a very pleasant dining room with a view.

We had a horrible experience here. We checked in late after a long day of travel and were immediately interrogated by the staff. The doors were locked and we were asked what we were doing there. We told them we were checking in. Very unfriendly and rude upon arrival. Then 30 minutes later a friend came to visit and they received the same treatment. They were actually refused entrance! Even the manager came down to tell us that no guests were allowed at night. When we came down to get our friend, the manager said we could only hang out in the lobby. Never in my life have I been told who I can and can not bring into my hotel room. I have traveled the world and stayed in hundreds of hotels. Not once was I given limitations of who I was allowed to bring, and most definitely never received a curfew. The next morning we packed up our bags again and had to find another hotel because we felt disrespected and uncomfortable. Furthermore the room smelled of smoke and was not clean. Our stay was horrible, we were treated unfairly and inconvenienced on what was supposed to be a fun vacation. Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had as a guest. Don't stay here!!

A bit of a walk from the sites but perfect if you have a car for connecting to the tourist areas. Room cleaning left a little to be desired. Need to fill up toiletries every night to the same amount. Breakfast was good with a lot of variety. Concierge was quite friendly.
