Hotel was nice. Staff was not as helpful as other hotels we have stayed in. Food in the hotel was meh.
The two choices for dining was good. Our room location was terrible. We looked out at the pipes and fans of the property facilities. The fan was very load.
Attractive hotel with friendly staff. Rooms were clean and well maintained though the decor was lacking in distinctive character. Good restaurant. Not the most convenient place to stay for seeing the main sites by foot. However, it is very close to Heuston Station, so it would be convenient if traveling by train.
Have stayed here a few times and always a great place to stay.

My stay at The Ashling Hotel was delightful. Great, clean room with a comfortable bed. Nice bar in the lobby. My stay was during the craziness of the coronavirus pandemic, and the staff handled it very well, still being very helpful and courteous. Thanks!
The property itself is perfection...location, value, comfort. The only issue we had was in the Iveigh Bar... on each of the 3 nights we visited for dinner and/or dessert, we found it nearly impossible to be served with any quickness if at all. It seemed more a matter of disorganization rather than willful bad service. Food didn't come at all on two of our visits. We kept going back because we very much wanted it to work out.
Breakfast buffet is special. Cordial staff. Clean and silent.
Close to Heuston Rail station and exceptionally easy to get around by bus or rail! Super friendly staff, clean rooms, and a lounge/bar that was large and open late!
