The staff that I encountered with are friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, walking distance to shops, restaurants, and pubs. The hotel is nice, however, we didn’t get housekeeping for the 3 nights we were there, and the bathroom is not as clean as one would expect. We slept there the first night, left to Cork for one night, and came back and no service was done to the room. The following day, we went out the whole day, and came back and still no service. Since that’s our last night, I didn’t bother saying anything as we needed to do our packing. Also, the nearest parking was expensive. The hotel covers a portion of it, and it’s still about 30-40 euros out of pocket, which could be how much the area charges.

Loved the room and location. I made a mistake when booking and they were able to accommodate the extra day I needed to stay. While there are no food options in the hotel itself, there’s a nice restaurant in the front of the building and plenty of other options nearby.

Overnight stay for a big night out in Dublin

We stayed here on an overnight trip to Dublin. This Hotel is ideally located to all the best sights in Dublin. The hotel is truly fantastic, the decor and furnishings have been exceptionally designed. Our room was very comfortable & recently fitted out so it felt like new. Big very comfortable bed, good powerful shower and very well equipped.

Fantastic experience overall… except they don’t offer any parking whatsoever. They do validate parking for a nearby garage that costs an arm and a leg and you get a nice hefty discount so it only costs a leg but otherwise it’s a nifty spot. The rooms have nespresso machines and they replenish new pods daily. Walking distance from all the popular bars and best dining restaurants in town. Wonderful place. Highly recommended. A+

I had a lovely 3-night stay at nyx christchurch (formerly the hard rock hotel). Major pluses: cozy bed, nespresso in the room, quiet! never heard anyone and we were next to the elevator, the shower (both hot temp and water pressure) was like a spa visit everyday, and the restaurant offered a great breakfast and the dinner was amazing as was the live music. Location cant be beat! we walked to all the gay bars and rented bikes and rode to IMMA. I would not hesitate to book here again.

I wanted to be near enough to Temple Bar and to the local attractions, but I also wanted a quiet room. I absolutely got both of my wishes! I was within walking distance to many of the sights I had planned to see, or a short taxi ride away. At night, the room was so quiet that I slept very well. I felt very safe as a solo female traveller there for 3 nights. The staff were incredible at looking after their guests, and the amenities were so clean and modern. The room had a bar fridge, air conditioning, hair dryer, kettle, wash cloths… All things I did not see in some of the hotels throughout other parts of Ireland lol. I can’t say enough good things about my stay! If there were any negatives, it would only be that breakfast was not included. I absolutely recommend this hotel, and if I ever go back to Dublin, I will be staying here again!
