A small hotel on the south side close to Aviva Stadium (Lansdowne Rd) and the Royal Dublin Society and very walkable to the city centre. Cooked or continental breakfast is very nice and staff go out of their way to be helpful. The rooms are warm and simple and clean. The bed and pillows were not as good as hoped for after a long flight. I would come back again.

Stayed here for two nights to watch a game at the Aviva Stadium. Perfect location. Service and staff were excellent The rooms however really let the place down. I am not a fussy sleeper but the beds really were very uncomfortable and even the pillows were hard. I would go as far as to say I lost a considerable amount of sleep due to discomfort. Rooms are also stuffy however opening a window leads to traffic noise. Such a shame as the set up of the hotel and staff were brilliant Please replace mattresses!!

Booked via Hotels.com and a lot of accomodation was already booked in Dublin. It's situated about 35 minutes drive from the airport and about 30Euro in a taxi. Pleasant check in and staff. Our room was extremely small with roughly only a small space by each side of the bed to walk alongside. Ensuite bathroom was overbath shower, toilet and sink so you need to be friendly with whom you’re sharing your room with. No air conditioning in the room either and the room got hot and had no ventilation. The window was down by the floor (seriously) and had to stay open at night which then meant you heard what was happening outside. Plus located next to the lift and could hear people talking when walking down the corridor. Breakfast was quaint although staff did not seem to speak great English bringing incorrect tea. Not a bad location to go to walk into the city from and eat at some nice restaurants in the area. I personally would not stay here again due to the lack of sleep, poor ventilation and petite size of the room.

This was a great place to stay for several reasons: friendly staff, cozy sitting room with cheese and cookies, SUPER delicious breakfast. However, I would not return here for one reason: the bed was very uncomfortable. The mattress was tired and in need of replacement and I didn't look forward to returning to my room (stayed 3 nights). Maybe this varies from room to room, but based on this one experience, I would have to choose some place else on my next trip to Dublin. But I might come over here just for the breakfast! :)

Stayed for a weekend and were made to feel so welcome. Staff are exceptional and nothing is too much trouble for them. The public rooms are well appointed and furnished and is a bit like being in a comfy private house. Nespresso coffee, Tea facilities and delicious biscuits available 24/7 in the sitting room. Very reasonably priced wine by the bottle. Short walk up the road to a range of very nice pubs and restaurants and a lovely walk by the Grand Canal. Rooms simple and comfortable and very quiet. Totally relaxing!

Good service, comfortable room, excellent breakfast, reason able value for latte booking. Friendly and helpful staff as well. Have stayed before (a couple of years ago) and will do so again. No complaints!

Stayed here overnight while on business and it was really great. Well appointed rooms, super location for easy access on foot to central Dublin and friendly staff. Breakfast also excellent. Represents excellent value for money.

Staying at the Pembroke Townhouse is like staying in a comfortable home. The welcome was amazing with complimentary tea, coffee, cakes and cheeses laid in a cosy lounge next to reception. On arrival back late at night after sampling Dublin nightlife the receptionist made coffee and gave us bottles of water!! The breakfast next day was freshly cooked and superb. Wonderful stay and will return.

There are two flights of stairs up from the street to reception - and no baggage assistance. Lobby is 2d floor. We were assigned Room 111 on same level as back parking lot and next to entry from it. So, used by some staff and guests to enter and exit. A few people stayed close out of the rain to smoke. Not quiet or pleasant. The room though rated "superior" for size was small by standards in the US as was the bathroom with the cracked tile in the center that creaked when stepped on and a sink stopper that was attached to a rusty screw hanging out of the side of the sink. The "desk" was barely adequate to write postcards. Because the breakfast room and service was lovely and attentive with a cook-to-order menu and excellent food, I rated it average. Candidly, we would not stay there again. IF you do, insist in advance on a room on 3d floor or above - and enjoy the breakfast.

What a send off! After 9 days of travelling through Northern Ireland, this was out last hotel before returning to Canada. It was a lovely treat. Great check in, quality furnishings, friendly helpful staff, outstanding breakfast and an easy walk to terrific restaurants and bars!
