The property was directly across the street from the Museum of the Future. Great overall location, close to great local restaurants and US franchise food chains.
Needs modernization
Security managers are awesome very friendly, kind and helpful. Unfortunately, one night the fire alarm went on at 3 am. We called front desk twice they didn’t pick up. At the third time when someone finally answered the phone he didn’t know why the alarm went on and said let me double check and I call you back. I understand things happen but about fire emergency people should know better how to handle this kind of emergencies. My group and I decided to go by the stairs from 23 floor to the 2 second floor. Thankfully, the security manager was there so ready to explained the situation and calm us down. Disappointed about how the situation was handled.
My experience here was perfect. Made a last minute reservation and couldn't be happier. Staff was excellent, courteous, and rooms were very clean. Due to my late flight the day of checkout, I asked about a late checkout and was given a 5pm checkout free of charge. This helped immensely. Two of your staff I would like to recognize personally. At the customer service desk, Elvi was amazing. Very helpful, knowledgeable, and helped make my stay perfect. Also, when ordering room service, Schille answered the phone and her personality, positive attitude, and helpfulness actually turned a somewhat bad day of mine around. She has to be one of the most friendliest people I have ever talked to on the phone. She is a gem and her ability to put a smile on my face and make my mood so much better while taking a food order is amazing. She truly loves customer service and her job.
The location is perfect to visit Dubai. The staff is very professional, they tried that you fell at Home. The Hotel is beautiful, and the rooms super comfortable. Breakfast spectacular , enough to keep you full all day. Enjoy the Bar next to breakfast buffet (happy hours 5-8 pm), beautiful location. In Dubai with Taxi is enough to move, because is very cheaper, and the hotel offer free shuttle to Dubai mall. Thank you to all Crown Plaza Dubai Hotel staff, continue with the excellent customer service, you are the BEST.
The staff is very friendly and will go out of their way to please you. The location on Sheik Zayed is very nearr the heart of town, with excellent restaurants and near all the malls.
