Great place to stay

The gentleman at the front desk is always so helpful and courteous. The complimentary breakfast is one of the best I've experienced. The hotel is maintaining the property in that both elevators are up and running, and upgrades to the electrical is happening on the second floor.

I compared other hotels, read the reviews on Expedia & Google, rented a hotel room for me and the kids to have a mini vacay for Valentine’s Day, only to find a bedbug chilling on the bathroom wall. I was offered another room, but why would I want to stay in that hotel knowing that there are bugs out in the open in the rooms. I had to spray down and wash every item of clothing, bag, purse, blankets, etc. that we brought to the room. That was a complete waste of my time, money and energy. Find a cleaner hotel to spend the night in.

Easy check in. Room and facility clean. Pool was being repaired, but I was notified of this prior to trip and they offered a free cancellation which I thought was transparent and classy.

The mini fridge didn’t work. Was placed in a handicapped room even after selecting the other option which resulted in the shower head coming up to my chin. It was detachable so I sort of made it work. But, there was no hot water. Told the front desk and after they said they sent a tech up while I was at dinner and it was “fixed”. Next shower I took in the morning was still cold and the rest of the week it would only get up to barely warm, so was not fixed! The walls are paper thin, so I got to hear on one side of the room a traveling therapists entire session while speaking at a reasonable level. On the other side of the room I got to listen to a group of guys screaming and blaring music. Which I can assume is where the weed smell came from. Avoid this hotel at all costs

While check-in and out were easy, and the room was clean but really small, there were problems. The room was way to warm when we checked in. We turned the temp down and went to our event. We came back 5 hours later and it was still hot. Uncomfortable to sleep. When I tried to get hot water to clean up, I had to let the water run 6-7 minutes to get even moderately warm. The process of logging into WiFi is counter-intuitive, giving the impression that you must join your club to get access. I was able to sign in, and the speed was OK, but it left a bad taste in my mouth. Breakfast was well done, good choices and quality. Overall was not a great experience.

Had ants in my room. The room wasn’t very clean. Got woke up at 3:30 am because of the snow plows scraping outside the window. The coughing of the neighbors through the thin wall kept me up the rest of the night after that
