there was a problem with the bathroom faucet and the staff had it fixed immediately. Bathtub and shower walls had a heavy layer of soap scum. Complementary breakfast varied daily and was decent.

I appreciated the desk clerk recommending a room with a fridge and microwave because of the length of my stay (nine nights). I would have preferred if the room had an armchair in addition to the desk chair. There was room for one, even given the space taken up by the fridge and micro. Housekeeping occasionally forgot to replenish the coffee in my room. But the room was perfectly clean and I got a terrific rate. Wi-Fi is dead slow. I got faster speeds by using my phone as a hotspot and connecting my laptop to the internet that way. The front entrance doors need to be motorized. They are stiff and hard to open, especially when you're dragging a giant suitcase. Can't imagine how someone in a wheelchair would get through without help. Breakfast is typical for what you get at "free" breakfast buffets: plenty of waffles and other carbs, fruit, yogurt, etc. Also hot food like eggs and sausage. There's some variety from one day to the next, which I appreciate. Would have preferred almost any kind of apple *but* red delicious. Why do people still serve those nasty things? The staff were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in town. It's easy to get to, just off I-96, and Meijer, Starbucks, and plenty of restaurants are close by.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. What impressed me the most was how friendly all of the staff were! From the night desk person, so the cleaning help, to the morning front desk person. I got greetings and smiles from everyone. One of the other great things was that they actually have breakfast until 1130am. Most hotels end at 10 am, so I rarely am up early enough to eat.

Hands down the BEST customer service I've received in my life. All staff from front desk staff, to service staff made GENUINE interactions which made the stay feel like home. Overall, hotel is basic, yet comfortable. The beds were super comfortable, free breakfast and wi-fi were added bonuses, and complimentary coffee/tea/hot chocolate was a great way to warm up. Plus - could not beat the price. Exceeded expectations for the cost for sure and would choose to stay here over a newer, pricier hotel down the street because of my experience.

room was clean. bathroom was nice, breakfast was excellent. the air conditioner in the room sounded like a diesel engine. without exhaust. in a hill climb mode.

the rooms have a bad smell when you turn on the air conditioner and if you turn it off, the room is hot. the furniture is old and doesn't look clean

Good hotel good breakfast clean Room no complaints

At 1:30 in morning, i had to call front desk to inform them of doors banging and people running from room to room. Fire alarm went off and we were out of power. No one rang to ask if we needed lights and no compensation was offered or given. There were lights in part of the place, but not everywhere. We were on 3rd floor. I am 68 and had to carry all my luggage down 3 flights of stairs.

I have never been more I satisfied with my stay at this hotel!! There was bed bugs and the manager named George acted like it was no big deal. He lied and told me he wasn't the manager also. Corporate put my family in another hotel but the General Manager has yet to reach out to me.

Staff nice always willing to ensure you have a pleasant experience.

very big clean room. jacuzzi was included. everything looks modern

I was in town for a funeral. I've had good experiences with this hotel chain in the past so I figured I'd give it a try. First thing out the gate, the clerk in the lobby refused my military ID (which is a legal photo ID). After I'm finally checked in I get to my room and find 3 outlets that are hanging outside the wall, missing tile and trim on the bathroom floor, several places where the ceiling had leaked and they put a quick patch in but made no effort to make it look complete again, missing trim, etc. Little things that make a difference when paying to stay at a reputable chain. Waffles in the morning were good though.

I was disappointed that the hotel charged me extra after I had paid my entire amount before my stay. We left the room exactly how we found it minus making the bed. We left 2 days early because of a hockey injury. The hotel was fine but the extra charge was very upsetting and I will not be going back!!!!!

Hotel comfortable. Breakfast was great. Breaskfast room very clean and well stocked with all breakfast items one would like. Mangement was very accommodating. We were treated very well. Rooms kept very clean. Housekeeping was very nice and accommodating. Would recommend hotel. We Will stay there again.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and quiet. It had some visual wear - especially pot holes in the parking lot - but otherwise was very pleasant. Parking was rather cramped on Saturday evening and there were some vehicles taking up multiple spaces, however, the hotel staff was prompt to deal with the inconvenience. The breakfast was delicious but the breakfast room is cramped and the hotel did not allow the food to be removed from the room. This made breakfast especially challenging Sunday morning when there was an entire basketball team plus other guests trying to get breakfast. The staff struggled to keep the food stocked and there was hardly room to move around. Overall, this was a nice hotel and one we'd use again.

Everything was good except we consistently had a room key problem. On the day that we arrived we were given two scan keys. Two times that evening only one key would work. The next morning we went down to breakfast and when we tried to get back into our room neither key would open the door. My friend went down to the front desk and was given two newly scanned keys and when she returned to the room neither key would work again. When she went down to the lobby again the person at the desk came upstairs with her to try it himself and it failed also for him. He finally fooled with the door by pulling it toward himself and then trying the key it finally opened. When I was checking out I mentioned it to the man behind the desk (I think was the manager) and he said well that's how electronic things work nowadays. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't but never once even offered a discount on the price for the bad experience. Besides that on the whole everything else was okay.

Excellent place to stay close to highway and food and shopping

I was in Livonia visiting a sick family member at a local hospital. The room was clean and the linens were fresh. The furnature in the room was dated and worn. Large brown stain on the wall next to the door. The bathroom door had inside scratched paint. The bathroom is very tight - maybe 3 feet wide. The was a combo whirlpool tub / shower in between the bathroom and bedroom. If you use the bathroom late night - your partner will get light in their eyes thru the 2 sets of curtains. The people in the room next to me used the very loud whirlpool tub at 9:30 pm, 1:30 pm and 5 am. The walls are paper thin ,and this whirlpool will wake you up. I will not be returning to this 2 star hotel due to the thin walls and poor sleep I received.

Checked in after midnight after a long drive . The check in was quick and the room was clean. Perfect accommodations for a 6 hour nap and then on the road again.

We were in the Detroit area for a funeral, and this was as close as we could get. This motel is very nice, clean, & quiet. The breakfast available is not large, but certainly adequate for most people. And if it is insufficient, there are several restaurants within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again.
