The hotel was very noisy with loud music playing all day and got worse at night. The bar across the street was so loud, we both got headaches from the bass vibrating our pillows. From 8:00 am until 2:30 am there was constant loud music. We ended up switching hotels, as we had to get sleep and couldn’t stay there. When we TRIED to check out, the reception desk refused to cancel the rest of stay and stated we should “turn our TV up” to offset the noise. We tried to get our money back from the manager, but he refused, stating they don’t refund during the “the busy season and Holidays” (they had several rooms available and weren't’ full). Instead his solution was for us to go “ask the bar and restaurant to refund” our money. In addition, there is no pool on premises or casino. You have go to another hotel for the pool and hotel is close to a very dark, dreary casino.

The beach has Brown saying I guess that's why it's called Cocoa Beach I really thought it was uniquely beautiful some yachts in the bay made for great photos I was only there for one night. Be sure to book online and get the lower rate had good breakfast!

Very enjoyable stay; extremely friendly and competent staff.

The hotel staff was once again AMAZING!! Friendly and very hard working!! Always doing whatever it takes to see your relaxing and having a great vacation!! They all remembered us from staying there Christmas 2016!! Can't wait to go back again and DIVE!!

Old and dank. In the middle of town descent pool nice wait staff. Room was older with gross bathroom.

This place was dump honetly. I missed my flight to LA and had to stay another day. I figured i'd stay close by so I quickly picked this hotel. It wasn't a good experience. The hotel was run down and more of a motel. The general area isn't nice either. The beach sucked. Need I say more?

Hotel has a nice small restaurant with not the best waitstaff. The beds are comfortable, the AC was fantastic, but the walls of the rooms, especially in the restroom/vanity are extremely dirty. I say rooms because we had to be moved to a different room because the first room's shower didn't have hot water, blow dryer or a telephone. The towels were so dingy they looked gray. The second room's restroom and doors in the restroom area were just as filthy. No hand soap, shampoo or conditioner was available & when requested, the clerk insinuated we had taken it. Only one used-roll of toilet paper was in the room. When we brought up the wall filth, the clerk said it was the paint. It was gross to even touch the doors. the toilet didn't flush and the clerk argued with us that it didn't flush because we had put toilet paper in it. I ended up removing the cover to the water tank to get it to fill so it could flush (yup, I was the plumber). Do not take clothing that needs ironing because the hotel DOES NOT have an iron. All the above issues were addressed with the receptionists/clerks at the check in counter, during our stay, but one argued with us and the second one, very sweet, wasn't able to get the issues resolved. I wanted to go to another hotel but my friend who uses Orbitz informed me that I would not get our money back. This was my first time using Orbitz and will verify if this is accurate, if so will stay away from Orbitz.

This hotel was right on the Main Street, which was very busy and noisy. To add to the noise, the pool roof was under reconstruction. The sawdust invaded the open air restaurant and the pool area of the hotel. So we could not use the pool during the day. The hotel staff were very welcoming, and presented us with a refreshing drink upon arrival. At night, however, we were not sure if there were any extra security measures because our hotel room seemed very accessible from the street. Perhaps they were able to lock up the front entrance at night, so this is something you should inquire about.

My stay at the Coco Beach Hotel and Casino was wonderful. The location can't be beat if you're interested in shopping for souvenirs. The walk down the main street was short. Lots of shops and restaurants. Short walk to the beach. I stayed in Costa Rica for a week, not all of my time spent at this property. I mention that because I had a week's worth of luggage and they didn't have an elevator. Thank God for the friendly staff who assisted with my bags. The pool and restaurant was nice, I really enjoyed my experience there. I stayed at another property that was affiliated with this one, which I didn't know at the time of booking, and I definitely preferred this property. The WiFi was free but limited to the pool area, which was fine because it's a small property and the walk to the pool from my room was not far. I would definitely stay here again. Loved the location, the staff and especially Luis. Everyone went above and beyond.

Nice large rooms. Two Queen beds. TV. Air conditioner. Veery friendly and helpful staff

Overall was good, but the "Superior" rooms need maintenance, they were poorly illuminated and the three of them that we rented had a non working WC. One did not have a telephone either and another had a broken, useless safe. No free parking or complimetary american breakfast was included (although it was advertised as included in the reservation.

Considering the price of around sixty five US dollars a night with breakfast, I cannot complain about the hotel. Not handicap accessible. Too many stairs. Hotel is a little noise at night with music in the street past midnight. Again, for the price including breakfast and Very Friendly staff, I cannot complain.

We stayed here one night before flying out of liberia. the hotel is a good value for the money. its old but decent, bathroom needs updating, towels are old. Staff is super friendly, very close to the beach. center of town , so its loud till very late. The beach is dirty and you cannot go in the water. local restaurants are good if you stick with local cuisine. you dont have to pay for kids under 12, they charge on most sites, i was able to book 2 kids without the charge. they ll also give you a credit if you call after booking. continental breakfast is good enough, comes with toast and mixed fruits and orange juice, but you can upgrade for $3.

Nice hotel for the price, clean, decent breakfast, great ambient nice pool. Really really friendly staff But the bed covers are way too old, pillow uncomfortable, bath towels were terrible, hard and scratchy. If the hotel replaces bed covers pillows and bath towels I'll give them more than three stars

Its a nice hotel to stay, 1 block and a half from the beach... Located in the main street of playa del coco.

This hotel was great for location, souvenir shops, bars, and restaurants. It is also in close proximity to coco beach but this beach isn't the best. The food at the restaurants was delicious, Lolita of fresh fish the hotel staff was great although we did have them do our laundry and they had misplaced it. They eventually found it. There is a pool right and front and the ceviche at the hotel restaurant is great.

Coco beach hotel was a great choice for a short trip. Hotel staff were friendly and accomodating. Close to area bars and beach.

Realmente bueno, la atención excelente por parte de las muchachas de recepción y mantenimiento... limpieza, seguridad y siempre súper atentas
