Front door to our room did not close. Switched us to another one that didn’t have dark out shades & the bath tub was broken/peeling. AC in the gym was not working. Management should fix such major issues.

While effort has been put into updating the property, There was mold in the bathtub, stuff from previous occupants under the bathroom sink and someone was smoking in an adjacent room which we could smell in our room. When brought to the staff, they were nice to our face, but failed to follow through on promises to clean up the mess in the bathroom.

The hotel was nice and the bedroom was clean but it seems like they forgot to clean the bathroom, even an old/used bar soap was still in the shower. Parking is free and the breakfast was standard.

We made the best of it

We found our room to be in disrepair. The bathroom door would not close. The toilet leaked water on the floor. The room also smelled heavily of cleaner. We reported the issues to the front desk to see if there was another room available. They declared they were fully booked. A kind manager came up to our room to see if he could help with the door, but it could not be quickly repaired. He indicated the heavy cleaner was often due to a former guest smoking in the room, and the cleaning staff needing to use heavy cleaner.

We had never stayed and a Comfort Inn and my expectations were relatively low. I was surprised. It is very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Don’t stay there for the gym! It needs some work.

We stayed for 3 nights. Upon check in you need to request if you would like your room serviced everyday. We requested everyday. Upon returning from Chicago at 10:30pm on the second day- we walked into a room that wasn’t attended to. Other than that the stay was nice. Breakfast is the usual- dry cereal, yogurt, bread options, make your own waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit, juice and coffee. We never had a problem finding a table to eat at. The hotel is about 10 minutes from the Arlington Heights Metra station if you plan on using it to go into Chicago. There is also a mall a few minutes away- Woodfield Mall- it was huge. Dunkin’ Donuts is literally next door- which we used when we missed breakfast one morning. All in all it was a great stay, besides our room being skipped for cleaning.

Staff was great- check in went well. . No toilet paper in room and only two towels. They provided us with more but shouldn’t have to ask. Shower had severe staining in tub and soap dish. Otherwise room was clean and adequate.

At the very last minute I found out that I had to get a hotel. So I chose the cheapest one that was close by and that was a horrible decision. The very next day I went to Comfort inn and it was such a relief and the smell of the place was great. The workers there were great from the housekeeping staff to the front desk person.

I was disappointed with my stay. The hotel room had a strong smell of cigarette smoke, which was quite unpleasant. Additionally, the elevators were frequently out of order, causing inconvenience. The morning breakfast also left much to be desired and could use some improvement..
