Rooms were clean but outdated. Coffee and stale cereal were the only things available for breakfast.. no milk, juice, or tea.. nothing else. There was an altercation below in the parking lot that the police had to show up for. Ok for a bed to sleep in but i would not stay there with family or kids.

Their system charged my card 3xs. Had to wait 2 weeks for bank to refund me. They said they could do nothing to fix it!? Room left everything to be desired! Needless to say we had originally booked 2 nights but, only stay one. Location is awful. I didnt feel safe.

It was my second time staying at this hotel, the location and easy parking are very convenient, but both times there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the room. Even though there was a sign in the room prohibiting smoking both bed covers had burn halls in them and while trying to plug something in the outlet under the bedside table I found an old cigarette butt in the back of the shelve. Not sure there will be a third time for me to stay there because when I got home all my clothes smelled like cigarettes (and I don’t smoke). If it wasn’t for the very strong smell, I’d say what you pay is what you get (considering the prices for other hotels in Chicago).

Older motel, 50s/60s era, super clean, super safe, great parking. TV is small and breakfast is a "cereal bar," but other than that: you are getting what you pay for, and the online pics and descriptions are accurate. Will stay again. It's a great neighborhood, and you cannot beat the price.

Area seemed safe enough. Went for a run down to the Wrigley area in the middle of the day and was never concerned. Didn't try that at night though. The "breakfast" here is minimal. There's a coffee machine and some cereal and they were out of milk. Calling this a provided breakfast is a little misleading.

Not a lot of options at all in this area if attending a concert at The Riviera. Booked this after reviewing mixed ratings. Old motor lodge, dated decor and bedding. Room was clean but this is bare bones for amenities. Desk staff nice. Continental breakfast was the bare minimum; the coffee fresh and adequate quality.

The breakfast was almost nonexistent. On the first morning, the only option was cereal in styrofoam bowls. No coffee. No tea. No bread. No juice. On the next two mornings, coffee was available.
