The room was clean and comfortable and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. Would definitely come back

I had stayed with my family - wife and two kids - for one night. The room was very comfortable and clean. Two queen beds made sleeping much more enjoyable for the kids who normally have to use the sofa bed.

Reserved this last minute while we were traveling. We were a little concerned that it had vacancy, but found it to be a very nice hotel.

This Courtyard by Marriott is a great hotel, with clean spacious rooms and updated bathrooms. It is in a nice location, Glenview which is a short drive to the north side of Chicago without staying in all the congestion of the city. Our issue with the hotel was the staff. Upon check-in the first room assigned was not ready for guests it had not been cleaned from the previous guests. The second room faced Lake which is a busy street and I has specifically asked for a room facing away from the street. The third room was finally facing the correct direction and was clean and ready for guests. The other concern was that the second day of our stay, we returned about 3 PM to freshen up and change clothes for a wedding and the cleaning service was just cleaning our room. We had to wait until she was finished to use our room. So I believe the management needs to monitor their staff tighter and then this would be a first-rate hotel.

The hotel staff was very courteous and professional. The only hitch was that the bed was a bit lumpy. Hotel was very quiet and completely smoke free. Would happily recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in the suburbs of Chicago.

And that was what was needed. Rooms recently updated to Marriott's new Courtyard designs.

We booked a king suite and we were impressed with the size of the room for the price. Housekeeping could have done a better job. There was a few shards of broken glass behind the bathroom door and a few hairs from the nether regions. All in all it was ok.

My room was clean and very comfortable. Very spacious. Loved my breakfast at the bistro. I honestly went in with expectations for a mediocre meal, but it was fantastic. Staff at the bistro were super nice.

Interior entrances very secure. Room very clean with new TV, carpet, beds etc. Nice locale down from All State Insurance HQ with plenty of nice mid grade restaurants - one right next door, no driving required. If you are traveling with elderly or special needs, do not forget as I did to get a handicap accessible room. Following Murphy's Law, the toilet was unusually low but doors were wide enough for walkers. Typically, there was no microwave or fridge as there are in cheap motels. Since I did not want to pay $9 per person for a fancy breakfast that started at 7am, I had to locate a 24 hour BP on Willow Rd. across from I-294 to get milk. Luckily, it was a frosty March night and I used my car to keep the milk cool overnight. All I needed for my elderly grandmother, mother and aunt were some quick free bagels and cheese, fruit, milk, OJ and coffee to bring back to the room. That kind of simplicity was lacking. Plenty of towels but only one was fluffy. Whatever. Nice shower pressure and hot water. Shampoo smelled nice. Surplus of hangers proved useful! Nice pool and jacuzzi open until 11pm and Euro-style laundry machines in same area, though we arrived too late to use any of that. Nice free internet stations in the lobby next to cool fireplace lounge. Overall, good stay, especially for the price.

We had a hockey tournament in Niles and the Marriott Courtyard Glenview was very convenient and inexpensive. The staff was very accommodating to our group, moving around rooms so that we could have adjoining rooms. The kids loved the pool and hot tub too!

I was in Glenview for a coaching camp recently. I LOVED my stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Chicago Glenview. I felt safe and the room was very nice and clean. The staff were all very polite and quiet. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Chicago in Glenview. I felt VERY SAFE!! The room was very clean and quiet. The parking lot was well lit. The service was great. I am planning on returning to this hotel in the summer.

Very nice hotel for the money. Very similar to a Comfort Inn or something in that price range. The room was a little small but well equipped with amenities. The breakfast buffet should have been complimentary and included in the room fee like a Comfort Inn. Otherwise, it was a very nice hotel value for the money I paid.

My son, his two children and I checked in on Sat., June 2nd, 2012. I was asked for a credit card for "other charges". I told her "there will be no other charges". After a lot of conversation, she took my cash. When I inquired about "breakfast serving times", I was told "your reservation doesn't include breakfast".This issue was resolved Sun. morning. with another associate, Sylwia, who graciously gave me a card for breakfast.

I stayed here while attending a conference at the AllState headquarters. It was WAY closer than the hotel the conference recommended, cleaner than the hotel they recommended, cheaper and nicer amenities than the hotel they recommended. There are a lot of food choices around. Close to the city if you wanted to drive in for dinner as well. I would definitely stay again. Staff was wonderful. I love the Courtyards but this one was really good.

Quiet, clean, affordable. Would be nice to have a small refrigerator.... but overall nice.

First of all, they allow you to reserve a room if you're under21. This was a nice location. Less than 10 min from Old Orchard mall, the train station, Walmart (other popular department stores), the movies and there multiple restaurants with a variety of styles. The continental breakfast costs, but for a great fulfilling breakfast it was worth the $8. Staff was friendly. My ONLY negative was that the house keeping did not clean our room the second night. I would stay again.

I have never been so disappointed in a hotel in my life. Checking in was a long process, had to wait in line and listen to the people in front of us trying to check out and voice complaints. One person was working the desk and was not at all compassionate to the complaints of customers. The room wasn't bad. We had 4 people and 2 towels in the bathroom. A call to the front desk for more towels which took about 2 hours to be brought to us. We had a roll away bed. Once again had to call the front desk for sheets for it. Another hour. The indoor pool was too cold to swim in and there were no towels in the pool area. We found large ants in the room. Housekeeping did a horrible job cleaning the room. Found a half crushed capsule on the floor and it was not a pill we had brought with us. We decided to stay an extra night due to some last minute plans. Figured one more night instead of trying to switch hotels. We went to the front desk and paid for another night. Was told it was fine to stay in the same room. The next night, after being gone from 10 am until our return at midnight, we were ready to rest before our trip home the next morning. Got to our room to find that the door key did not work. Went to the front desk to find out what the problem was. It took over 30 minutes for them to figure out that the person who reserved our room for the extra night failed to tell us that we needed to come to the front desk to check out and then our reservation for the extra night would go into effect. Needless to say not very happy after being out all day and being extremely tired to have to come back and find we were locked out. And the room had not been cleaned that day!!! Was not offered any type of compensation for all of our problems. Will never stay at another Mariott and will definitely not recommend them to anyone.

I stayed at this hotel while attending training at Allstate. It was well located to both the interstate and the Allstate Campus. The room was clean, neat and well cared for. The TV didn't have many channels, but that's my only (small) negative. Service was excellent.

I held a training class there and found the staff helpful and nice. There are a couple of nice places to eat near by and the room was reasonably quiet as well as comfortable.
