Sheraton Chicago Northbrook Hotel

3.5 out of 5.0

No mini frig in room. Breakfast is extra. Swimming pool is the size of 3 bathtubs. Then, to beat it all, I had to ask to get clean sheets!

The hotel is nice, clean and quiet. What really made our trip great, was the staff. They are friendly, courteous and do a great job of making sure guests are taken care of. Highly recommended!

The Bed was the most comfortable bed I have been in, my wife also stated it was comfortable, walking distance to several very restaurants 15 mins from O'Hara Airport, 15 mins from Lake Michigan, very nice

We drove our son to Northwestern University and stayed overnight at Sheraton Northbrook. The hotel and rooms were very clean and neat. Would definitely recommend. Short drive to the university.

Awesome stay! I will definitely stay here again if i'm in the area

I've stayed here on two different trips and have no complaints. The hotel is nice and the rooms are very neat and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and I look forward to my next stay.

I have stayed in other local hotels but I always come back to the Sheraton . Not a bad price, great staff, and a great location.

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful! The hotel had an overall great feel and vibe to it. I stayed in a king room and had plenty of space with a large desk to work. The rooms were newly remodeled with a clean and classic feel. They do lack a mini fridge but you can rent one for $25 but with a 4 star hotel I would have hoped they would have just supply one as a nice to have if a guest requested one. The beds were comfy not as soft as I hoped but nice. The bed did have extra layers of linens so you could choose how warm or cool you wanted to be. The top comforter for me, was just a little too heavy but again this is being really being specific and I have high expectation especially since I am use to a goose down filled duvet. The hotel is close to a shopping center and Starbucks which was nice too! Over all it was a great stay!

Staff was pleasant, room was clean and beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was clean, roomy and overall room looked very nice. We stayed only 1 night but it was very enjoyable evening. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Chicago for reasonable price and great comfort!

Visiting friends near Northbrook, so my girlfriend and I just needed a place to sleep for a couple of nights. The word we used to describe this hotel during our trip was "substandard", and it became a running joke. NO mini fridge, NO microwave, NO safe, the minimum number of towels two people would need for one day, the smallest hotel pool we've ever seen. The upsides are the service is great - Our coffee maker didn't work, and they replaced it within minutes. The hotel is also relatively new and clean. It's a shame that you have to constantly be lugging ice around, and you don't have anything to reheat food (we had to throw away a bunch of leftover food from a restaurant). I don't understand the lack of standard amenities that even cheap hotel chains offer. Would definitely never stay there again - Way too inconvenient.

awesome, brand new hotel. everything in the hotel was spotless, the staff went out of their way to help! very professional ! great location with plenty of choices for eating out! and even a bowling alley with restaurant right in front of hotel great for families!a small hotel lobby is kinda small but yet nice.

This was my third time at the Sheraton Chicago Northbrook Hotel in the past year. It has been a great stay every time!! Going back to Chicago in Oct and plan to stay there again.

Perhaps it's because I didn't ask but I could not access local or network television. Everything was in-house OR movie options.

I really enjoyed my stay - room was great and staff were great!

I couldn't be happier. Business travel is tough with many days on the road and many late nights. I arrived at 1:45 AM CST/ 2:45 AM EST and found the desk clerk at the desk and ready to help me. He was quick and friendly without being too talkative as I was tired. The room was beautiful. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. I got to bed at 3 AM my time and was up early. It felt like I had a full nights sleep. Club level breakfast is great. Hotel ammenties, the overall condition is beautiful ad it's close to restaurants and highways. I will be travelling to Chicago in the future and hope to be close enough to Northbrook to stay here again. Thank you!

Visiting family and a nice place to kick back and relax

The hotel appearance was new and clean. The room was spacious and up to date.

Good location. We were there to visit family in the area, and the hotel is very convenient for us.

they take pets!

This was a first rate hotel at a very reasonable price. Rooms were great -- down feather comforter on the bed, great pillows and very, very quiet. Every staff person was helpful and friendly. We would return to this Shearton without hesitation!
