Check in was easy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking is very close to the entrance and convenient. The room looks nice and clean With plenty of space. I'm glad I booked this one online, had bever been here before.
The staff were very kind. The room was perfect for a work trip, Wi-Fi had a strong signal and the desk area was appropriate. The bathroom and room were very clean. I felt the security of the hotel was very good. The restaurant in the hotel was pricey for it to be part of a hotel facility, however ...
The team at Avenue were super responsive to my requests even before I arrived- they answered emails in a timely manner, were personable and accommodating. The same was true for the front desk staff. Location is fabulous- 3 blocks to Foggy Bottom Metro Station, across the street from a Trader Joe's ...
online when booking my stay it wasn't noted how much parking cost. It was $38 a night, which seemed way to expensive in my opinion. Thankfully the doorman was nice enough to point us to a spot right in front of the hotel and let us park there for our 1 night stay. I really liked that they gave you ...
Let me state right at first, this is not a hotel, its something like an Air BnB. If you are expecting a hotel experience you will be disappointed. That said, the size of this apartment is huge! very nicely furnished, was clean, great location, all around an outstanding place to stay. Did I mention ...

The room was fairly cheap, although the $30 fee for parking is a bit too much I got a complimentary upgrade to a 'deluxe' double bed room, but I knew this is coming with a catch- the room was next to the elevators, with all that means. The balcony and the view were nice surprises, but the so-called 'deluxe' room was cramped and noisy.
It would be nice to give a continental breakfast. The lounge was a good place to unwind after a long day
I only come to DC for visas about once a year. This city is not a place to come to if you want to relax and be lazy. It does have great foreign food options and government and historical building. The traffic and way people drive here is stressful and tiring. (Typical capital city) After a day of running around and trying to get things done, it is nice to come back here where the people smile, and welcome you. It is like coming home after a bad day of work. Valet parking attendants are so kind and greet you with a smile and small talk. I enjoyed everything about this hotel and staff. The location is good to walk down and get a Chinese visa. Best hotel I have stayed in in DC. If I have to come back to DC (last trip, I hope) Then I will stay here for sure!!! It will be like coming back to visit friends.
I spent a long weekend at the Wink hotel and I was impressed with the hotel staff and all amenities. I would not hesitate to visit again😊
