The hotel is really nice with an old style classy touch. The area outside the hotel is the revamped old train station and it's very nice with restaurants and bars. Swimming pool area is very nice as well

Not the best experience. We were in town for a wedding & I called the hotel to see if we could check in early to get ready. They said we would have to come in to the hotel and then they could let us know if there was a room ready. When we got there, we were given a room that shared a wall with the lobby- needless to say it was very noisy. The room was extremely dark as there were only 2 lamps. The toilet did not work when we got there either. The staff were friendly enough and they did fix the toilet quickly. The cleanliness of the room was decent. There was some leftover trash, but everything else was fine. The beds were comfortable. There was hardly enough parking for the hotel guests.

This hotel is beautiful! We loved our stay here. The grounds are stunning and we enjoyed walking around the area to check out shops and restaurants. There was a slight delay with our room being ready at check-in, but we were offered an upgraded room as a consolation. No complaints there! We ended up with a gorgeous patio room viewing the trains, near the pool and restaurant. We hope to be back again sometime- what a fabulous hotel!

I absolutely loved this hotel, old time charm with modern conveniences. The staff was so welcoming and helpful, they made you feel like royalty. The restaurant Elsie's daughter was beautiful atmosphere and delicious food with a super friendly staff. Convenient location. I will definitely be staying here again!!

Like many properties we stayed at, the bathroom was less than convenient. There was a towel rack, but towels could not be reached from the tub. There was nowhere to hang towels if you wanted to use them again. The grab bar was placed so that you had to enter the tub under the shower head. For guests over 70, this is less than optimal.
