Enjoyed our stay both times! Very clean and up to date. The pool was nice and well kept. The breakfast was very nice, with plenty of options. Hotel was close to the local attractions and walking distance to many as well. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this hotel!

Had to get this one in right away. Never had a more pleasant check in experience, and his name was Mark. Every hotel in the world needs a Mark. Thoughtful, kind and professional. Almost like a friend you’re staying with at his home. Hotel is in a great location downtown. Walking distance to restaurants and other sights. For us it’s a surprise concert for my wife at the famed Tivoli Theater, four blocks up the road. Seeing Chicago (The Band). Rooms are nice and well decorated. Beds are comfy, good breakfast in the morning and the “Mix” in the evening with complimentary finger foods and beer on tap. Just a really nice stay.

We stayed here due to the close proximity to AT&T field and restaurants. Our check in was very fast and easy. It’s sort of unclear where to park while your checking in. It seems like they’re asking you to park on the sidewalk and come in. This hotel does allow pets so, if you don’t want to hear barking or have allergies... this may not be the place for you. There was a dog right across from our room that barked for a substantial amount of time. Apart from that, the room was very nice with a luxurious feel. The kitchen was nicer than the one I have at home but I did not need to use it. The bathroom was updated with a nice shower, hot water and a nozzle you can adjust settings on. The separate vanity area had amazing lighting and made it easy for me to get ready while my boyfriend spent an eternity in the toilet/shower part of the room. The bed is what you’d expect to sleep in paying $200 a night, very comfy. Some parts of the room were a little dirty, such as the baseboards and areas around the bottom of the shower. The mirror portion of the closet was rusted at the bottom. I dropped an ear ring that went under the bed, and you can tell it hadn’t been vacuumed in a while, but overall the room was nice and had everything we needed (and more) The outside of the hotel shows balcony’s but you cannot use them.. that was a little disappointing. Breakfast is from 7-10 and we were told to either come early or toward the end due to a basketball team staying there. We got there a little before 10 and there were no plates left and they were starting to break stuff down so we did not get to eat, (more our fault) however it looked like a good spread. Parking is free in a gated lot. We will definitely come back and stay on our next weekend trip to Chatanooga.

Great place to stay downtown. Close to many restaurants and attractions. Quick check-in. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Your typical free breakfast set-up. The only negative (And it's tiny) is that my room had no lotion. Having flown into the area, that's something I didn't pack. And it's also a necessary toiletry item for me. Not sure if they had run out or what. I would stay here again.

In town for 4 days for Easter. We have two kids and the two bedrooms and pullout couch were perfect. The location being steps away from everything (aquarium, museum, IMAX, free shuttle, baseball stadium, river walk, restaurants, and more) over comes certain things. The one elevator is slow for sure, but we were fine taking steps to second floor. The TVs did not pick up channels consistently. Not a big problem on vacation, BUT it was Final 4 weekend. Overall, the property is a bit tired, in a great location and the staff we encountered was very nice and helpful. Would stay again

We enjoyed our stay here - complimentary hot breakfast each morning and snacks/appetizers Mon-Wed evening. Free coffee or hot tea in the lobby all day. Used the indoor pool each day of our stay. Super convenient to everything we wanted to do - children's museum, riverfront, restaurants, aquarium, Lookouts stadium. We parked the car upon arrival and left it in the gated parking lot until we checked out. My only complaints are that nothing was told to us about our stay, the hotel, or the area at check in and i asked for an extra comforter or blanket for the horrendous pullout sofa bed and never did receive one. Other than that, very friendly front desk employees. The other staff members were not as outgoing, yet cordial when we encountered them.

Awesome location, walking distance to the Aquarium, restaurants, and other activities. The room was perfect, clean with a small kitchenette, great room layout. The free breakfast was awesome, with a huge variety and kept clean and stocked. The trolley is just across the street providing free transportation to other areas of interest. The employees were very friendly and helpful with restaurant choices and directions. We would DEFINATELY stay there again when staying in that area!

I have stayed in numerous Hotels all over the country. Some are opulent, some are dirty but some are just right. This small town hotel could be updated, but its nice, its convenient, its pet friendly, the rooms are laid out well, the rooms are clean, the hot breakfast in the mornings is better than most, the staff is a accommodating, they have this cute little market for late night snacks, its just got what we need. It is certainly not too expensive for the room we get. It has been our regular place to stop in Chattanooga for several visits now and it is still...Just Right

I read the woman's review "WORD OF CAUTION IF YOU’RE TRAVELING WITH KIDS, PLEASE READ!" and did not think too much of it since there were so many great comments about this hotel. I wish that I listened. The only thing good about this hotel is the location but there are soooo many suite type hotel next to this hotel that I wish I stayed there. The non-automatic heavy doors are horrible when traveling with a small child, having one elevator is very hard when traveling with a toddler, you're constantly waiting for the elevator, and don't count on always having that push cart because there are not many. The woman that works the night shift on Friday was not rude but not welcoming either. She was more pre-occupied on her phone instead of answering any of your questions. She was not helpful at all and didn't seem like she liked her job. But maybe I"m wrong and it was just an off day for her; however, coming into the hotel late to be greeted that way was not welcoming. The buffet was okay. I had the two bedroom suite and that was okay but the maids take forever to get to your room. I came back to the room for my toddler nap around 1pm and the room was still not clean so I had to put the "do not disturb" sign on so they didn't knock on the door while sleeping. So of course the room didn't get cleaned. I will not be returning back to this hotel. I loved Chattoonoga but do not like the hotel. I usually love Residence Inn due to the family friendly setup but this was by far the worst residence inn that I've ever stayed at.

The Residence Inn was perfect a one night get away in downtown Chattanooga. It is located directly across from the free trolley bus station, as well as just an easy walk from so many other fun family things. I almost booked at the courtyard across the street and would have been super disappointed with no where to park upon arrival. The Residence Inn has its own lot for hotel guests only and the parking fee is just tacked onto your room. The room itself was nicely laid out. Guest Access to the little balcony off our room would have been a nice touch, but Everything else was spot on. It is a pet friendly hotel and some guest brought a hound dog, which was a little annoying but the heater in the room is so loud, it drowned out the howling. Again, just minor incidentals comparatively. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend.
