I was initially surprised when I arrived at Ellipse Global Lodge in Carlsbad, NM. I was expecting a typical hotel, and seeing it was a camp-style setup almost made me turn around and look for a more traditional place. But something told me to give it a chance — and I’m very glad I did.
The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, making me feel welcome from the start. The entire property is spotless, very well maintained, and extremely clean. I stayed in one of the trailer homes, and I was honestly impressed. It felt like a full apartment: spacious, bright, and fully equipped.
Inside, there was a complete kitchen with stove, microwave, two refrigerators, a dining area, a nice living room with a big TV, and even laundry facilities on-site. The bedroom was super clean, well-lit, comfortable, and spacious — it truly felt like staying in a real home rather than a temporary lodging.
Highly recommended if you're open to a different kind of experience. It may not look like a hotel from the outside, but it definitely delivers the comfort and amenities of one — or more.

Al llegar al Ellipse Global Lodge en Carlsbad, NM, me llevé una gran sorpresa.
