I was really disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The lady at check-in was not very customer friendly and seemed bothered to be there. Check-in itself was slow and unhelpful, even though the place was nearly empty. They still stuck me in a room facing the highway, so all I heard all night was traffic noise. The name is misleading — it says “by the mall,” but the mall is actually about three miles away. The carpet in my room was filthy and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. There’s also nothing to do nearby, so once you’re checked in, you’re basically stuck with noise and dirt for company. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The staff was super friendly and helpful, our first room smelled horrible of dog, we were traveling with a 5lb dog ourselves. We asked to be moved. They did accommodate our request, but the rug and sitting chair in the next room was very dirty. They did say the hotel is supposed to be getting a remodel.
