Wonderful location. Pleasant owner, unique building and decor. Very unusual experience in the nice way.

This was a fantastic little b&b that we would absolutely stay at again. It's a short taxi ride from the train station, and a great location in general. It's literally right in front of a church (I think it's called Saint Salvator, and it's beautiful and definitely worth going in to visit). The site staff were extremely helpful and communicative and even though we arrived late they made sure we had access to keys and could settle in ok. We stayed in the Loft Room at the very top. The room itself was adorable, clean, and comfortable. There was even a small bottle of wine waiting for us! The large bathtub was so luxurious. Breakfast is at the inn right next door, which is owned by the same people. It's a lovely little spread of eggs, bacon, yogurt, granola, and some pastries, as well as tea and coffee. It's just the right thing you need to get your day in Bruges started, and it's included with the price. Things to note: - The building does not have a lift, just wooden stairs. It was just my husband and I, and for our purposes the room accessibility was just fine. -If you're in the Loft the ceiling angles in to form a triangle, so if you're tall (like my husband is) you might want to watch your head :) - When you check out you will need to pay a city tax on the order of 2 euro per person per day; this is normal for certain places in Europe. Everything about Bruges is delightful and you're going to enjoy yourself, and if you stay at 1669 b&b you won't regret it.
