In the best location this boutique hotel has glorious views from floor to ceiling windows of the main canal. Great breakfasts and a quiet elegant bar that’s open till 2am. Wonderful staircase makes walking up and down a pleasure. Extremely friendly staff. Like most places in Bruges, the coffee is mediocre: the hotel should invest in a good espresso machine and baristas that know what they t doing.

This was a 2 night stay to finish our 2.5 week tour of Europe... and what a truly wonderful way to finish! This hotel is simply stunning. We were so fortunate to have the upstairs family room in a separate accommodation block to the main Hotel (but it's literally only a 30 second walk across a courtyard). This family room has 2 completely separate bedrooms, both of them very generous sizes. And the rooms are decorated and maintained to an exceptionally high standard. The hotel is perfectly located, within very short walking distance to all of the city's amenities but feels just off the beaten track enough to be quiet. There is also a Spa at the hotel, offering a swimming pool, sauna and steam room (I think), which our family were all allowed to use at no additional cost. The hotel isn't cheap but offers very good value for money.

My husband and I traveled to Bruges with our dog last October. I meant to write this review immediately after our trip given the wonderful generosity and hospitality of the hotel staff, but life got in the way. Better late than never. Last autumn we moved from the States to Germany and were very excited about the travel opportunities within Europe. Bruges was our first road trip and we were very happy to have found a beautiful hotel along the canal that allowed dogs. So we packed up the car and the dog and set out....completely forgetting to pack our dog's food. When we arrived at Hotel De Tuilerieen, we inquired at the front desk about possible pet stores in the area. But as it was somewhat late in the day, we were told nothing would be open. The staff (and I really wish I could remember their names) provided us with a plate full of ham and cheese for our labrador to eat for dinner. We were so appreciative of their kindness as was our dog who didn't have to be hungry that night. In addition to the staff's generosity, the hotel itself was fantastic. The room was quite large and very cosy. It's in a great location - walking distance to everything. While it is a year late, we want to say a very big thank you to Hotel De Tuilerieen for helping us in our (and our dog's!) time of need.

We recently stayed two nights at this super hotel. Location was perfect, room was quiet and the breakfast was delicious. We had a room near the back court so the noise level was low. The bar in the hotel is a great place to grab a drink to start your evening. Love a room with two sinks in the bathroom. Little details but they made our stay easy. We had excellent service and a great room so would highly recommend.

This is a solid choice for Bruges. Close enough to the squares and all the fun, but far enough to avoid the noise. Next to the museums, a canal, and on the way of the groups of day trippers. Our room was on a part of the building that had low ceilings. Otherwise, the decoration was good and the bathroom spacious. Breakfast was excellent - chocolate and sparkling wine are a great combination on top of the standard fare. The bar is cosy, especially during the winter it must be a great meeting point. Staff is friendly - their recommendations for dinner were great. Only shortcoming is the lack of a restaurant, especially for a hotel of this kind. In terms of value, it is kind of expensive, but then this is Bruges...

We visited Bruges in August and were very much looking forward to our trip (for months). We travelled with our 18-month old toddler. Our first impression of the hotel and service was great, we had a lovely lady who greeted us at the reception desk, the check-in process was very quick and she took us to our suite and did a quick show and tell. The next morning at breakfast we were once again greeted by a wonderful lady who took the time to make sure we were comfortable. Breakfast was good, there was a big selection of fruits, confectioneries and warm options. It was on the second day of our stay that we felt a little alienated by a new lady who had taken over the breakfast shift, we were not too phased by this but this did stick out as a negative on the service especially in contrast to everyone else at the hotel who were very friendly and warm. The Wellness space was also very nice and overall the hotel is a beautiful retreat in a very busy tourist centre. We will visit again and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a restful stay in a classic period establishment.

We had the great fortune to stay at the Hotel Du Tuilerieen for four nights. Our room was on the ground floor, very large with a separate sitting area, and a private patio. Bathroom was huge, good water pressure. Toilet was in a separate room on the other side of the bedroom, which I’ve seen elsewhere in France and Belgium. The breakfast room was beautifully decorated and the buffet breakfast was about as extravagant as you can believe.

Visited the Hotel De Tuilerieen last weekend for the first time, and most definitely will return. The service from the General Manager, Kristof and his team was excellent. My mum has two medical assistant dogs, and whilst dogs are welcome at the hotel anyway, the staff were mostly very accommodating when they knew about the Poodles, which in turn, made us very relaxed at breakfast time. The bedroom (141) was exceptionally beautiful, overlooking the canel, in one of the suites. The breakfast was absolutely delicious as well, offering both continental and English breakfast options - both delicious. It is expensive, but worth it, and certainly a lovely place to stay that will leave you will happy memories.

It is comprehensible that hotels should not provide toilets to non residents. However, when asked several times politely and having mentioned that you are willing to pay for the service because the nearest public toilet is closed and that the girl concerned needed to go urgently, I think it was appalling that access to the toilet was denied..... I wish the person @ the reception would experience a similar problem, so next time she would feel less superior. Great publicity for your hotel and our beautilful city.

Nice hotel , centrally located with parking . Also accepts dogs and is close to a park . The breakfast was tasty and varied. Room was large with good air conditioning . The bar is beautiful. Overall a lovely stay.
