Everyone should stay here!! Though our room was tiny we expect that in Europe so no surprise there. The linens, bath products, quality of beds..so comfortable!! Breakfast was enchanting with fresh juices, delicious coffee, beautiful table and delicious assortment of breads. Eggs cooked to your preference were so good. This restaurant is across the street from one of our favorite restaurants in Bruges. It is a short walk to the city center with beautiful, winding streets offering shopping for every taste. I am a known high maintenance traveler. I like luxury and I am willing to pay for it. Do yourself a favor. Enjoy a honeymoon type experience at this romantic, beautiful hotel.
We spent a week in Brugge, probably much longer than most tourists. The hotel was quiet and convenient to everything. We were given an opportunity to upgrade to a junior suite and that made good sense given the amount of time we were staying in the city. The staff - especially manager Kelly - were generous with their time and thoughtful in their recommendations. The suite itself was pleasant and well-kept but the room lacked a dresser. But given that most tourists stay for just a couple of days, it probably made sense to use a suitcase as a dresser. We heartily recommend this hotel.
This is a delightful place to stay to see the beautiful city of Bruges. It is ideally situated a few minutes walk from the main square and other attractions and has a number of bars cafes and restaurants within easy reach. It is positioned on a side street so isn’t bothered by roaming tourists We arranged parking directly with the hotel in one of the adjacent garages From the moment we arrived staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. They took cases for us , arranged lunch and dinner reservations, and gave us an overview of what to see. Not in a pushy way , but in a professional and genuine desire to make sure we got the best from our visit We stayed in a junior suite which was tasteful spacious and fully functional with views over the street. The 4 poster bed was very comfortable ( but the temporary bed for our son was not so ) Breakfast was a delight. Bright and airy, with a handful of tables laid out with crisp linen. Continental breakfast was set out on the table and at the buffet, and eggs cooked to order on the aga nearby. All with a glass of champagne to wash it down - very civilised. Lovely hotel , efficient professional friendly staff, fantastic stay
Well, what can i say? Probably the best hotel in the world! Truly outstanding quality in every way, with wonderful service and delightful rooms. Totally charming! I would recommend this hotel for it's individual charm and is so much more enjoyable than the big chains.
The Good: The Pand's location is ideal for a tourist. You get the positives of being a 4 minute walk to the Markt while also not having to worry about all the noise that comes with it. The Staff is unbelievable. They go overboard to make sure you feel like you are staying at a "Luxury Hotel". Twice, when making an order from the bar, they happily volunteered to bring our order up to the room. They also include delicious trinkets, chocolates, and nuts whenever you make a simple coffee or beer order. The Not so good: The bathroom was a bit strange in that the shower position made it so there was some water on the bathroom floor when finished. This was a minor inconvenience. I highly recommend this hotel.
We stayed two nights in a junior suite. The room was not very convenient because the bathroom was in another level. Other than the room the personnel was excellent breakfast good and the location was very central. A good bet when in the area.
I was traveling on a business trip and stayed at the Pand Hotel. I had booked a room and i was early for my check in but they were happy and accommodated my early arrive. The rooms are very nice, i stayed in a suite. For business the desk in the room was not the best for a work station, but my guess is not many business travelers stay since Brogge is a tourist village. The breakfast includes a glass of champagne, and personal cooked eggs in the old-fashioned broiler oven. it is well worth the cost and the location is perfect for local pubs and shops.
Loved our overnight stay! From start to finish we felt special and cared for. The front desk service was so helpful and sincere - wonderful! The room was lovely with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was in a delightful room and elaborate and delicious. Highly recommended!!!
The Pand Hotel is a small boutique hotel. We were a party of 6 ranging from age 21 to 60 and we all loved this hotel! The location is perfect - a few minutes from the centre but nice and quiet. The breakfast was cooked to our requirements by a fantastic husband and wife team and the rooms were spotless. You can ask for a kettle at reception which pleased father in law! All the staff were so helpful both before (organising a surprise birthday cake (see photo) and hiring a wheelchair) and after (posting a forgotten mobile phone) that we had the best holiday ever! Special mention must go to Kelly ! The hotel organised a day trip to Flanders Fields via Quasimodo tours and this was a fantastic day from start to finish - we all returned appreciating our lives a lot more, especially after the "last post" at the Menin Gate which is delivered by volunteers ever evening at 8pm. We ordered a pot of tea in the hotel one afternoon and were astonished by all the free "extras" that came with it - a small banquet! (see photo) Shops, restaurants and water boats a few minutes walk a way (see photo). We will definitely return.
This hotel is a gem ! From the moment you enter the hotel you are greeted by a friendly welcome. our bedroom was beautiful and very comfortable. My only one moan an possibly very English is there is no Tea and coffee making facilities which I would have liked. Breakfast is amazing and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this hotel anyone wanting to experience luxury at its very best
