Had decent parking on the right side of the building and was only a 5 minute walk from the train. Bus stops were even closer. Let us check in a couple hours early.
Terrible Terrible Terrible Never seen a hotel so badly maintained Carpet was stinky and dirty stains all over.Looks like the carpet was never cleaned in decades. Layers and layers of dust on lamp cover next to the bed.
The building was old and in poor condition. I’m surprised it passed building inspection, which likely means it was grandfathered in to various codes. Electrical was obscurely places and not grounded. Doorways were not accessible with or without ADA standards. The door lock was very finicky and didn’t feel secure. There wasn’t a clear distinction in the advertisement that it was a shared bath, which was, by virtue of being communal, not clean. The room itself seemed like I was staying in a poorly finished attic with cracked plaster ceilings. The outrageously old carpet felt so unclean I wore my shoes. The bedding springs hurt my back so bad I would have preferred to sleep in my car. If there were a fire, it would be easier for you to punch your way through the walls and jump to street level rather than navigate to safety around a giant useless organ/piano in the second floor hallway.
Not worth for the money , very expensive compared to other cities
very poor property, not clean. I had bugs bites every night during my stay.
Nice place to stay. Close to everything you want to see and in a safe neighborhood. Had a great experience here in boston.
I didnt like anything about & especially didnt like having to share the bathroom!!!
Uniquely old and antiquated. However, it works at half the price.
Was not impressed at all. Not very clean, Building looked like it needed repairs.
I have seen a rat in my room on the third nite of my stay and freak out. However, to compensate for it, the reception transferred me to a nice suite. In that suite, there was an issue of water in the washroom basin. Anyhow, I was at the hotel for the whole day, it didnt bother me much.
The hotel is a guesthouse, so in a sense, you get what you pay for. I was overall happy with it for the price and would probably go back if traveling on a budget. I felt that the hotel was clean and safe, and the staff were helpful and nice. However, it is necessary to point out that the facilities are rather old and could maybe use some updating. In sum, the hotel was fine to stay with but more like a hostel.
The Inn is how I expected, staff very kind, the price was far too high but prices where outrageously high in Boston in general and availability very limited. Location not bad.
The older man that greeted us was short with me a couple of times. He needs to learn hospitality from his bearded coworker who was very nice. The hotel/hostile is old. They need new beds and The shared bathrooms were not that clean and very old. The price was right but I would only stay there because it is cheap. Also, they rent to homeless who sit outside on front stairs smoking. That pretty much will give you an idea of the culture of the place.
I needed a bed and shower. That's what I got. The room needed better lighting and at least a chair for relaxing.
This facility is not suitable for business travel. Emphasis on the SHARED bathroom. We were moved to a 2 bedroom suit-- inappropriate for a boss and an employee. The room was dirty and the beds were awful.
