Stayed 4 nights at this beautifully decorated and situated guesthouse. A very warm welcome from Elizabeth, thank you for the delicious red wine and helpful hints. Comfortable bed and lounge furniture, fridge, coffee machine and spacious bathroom. All topped off with beautiful wooden beams, floors and furniture. Locationwise out of the bustle of Boston, but only a few minutes walk to the T, or regular buses, so easy to get around and about. Charlestown has Bunker Hill, the Warren Tavern (good beer and food) and the dockyard where USS Constitution is berthed, and there are plenty of shops and a coffee house almost on the doorstep. Completely recommend staying here.
Elizabeth made us feel so welcome. The Moroccan Suites are beautiful and everything is down to such a high standard. Breakfast was lovely as well. On our arrival we received a complimentary bottle of Prosecco as congratulations for getting married. The location is excellent just a few stops from central Boston but far enough away to get some calm after spending the day in the heart of the city. The area where the Suites are is lovely with a great bar nearby.
My husband and I recently stayed here for our 5 year anniversary. The place is lovely from top to bottom! Our room was gorgeous from the draped silk on the ceiling to the carved bed. Small details were everywhere (including rose water to wash our hands in - so refreshing and thoughtful!) The owner even had a bottle of Prosecco waiting for us on the night of our anniversary. The staff were friendly and the room was immaculately clean. If we ever return to the area we'll definitely be back!
After looking for hotels in Boston for quite some time I finally found the Moroccan Luxury Suites and am so glad we did! Instead of a cramped room with no windows to open we had a luxurious suite with a super comfortable bed, a full kitchen and living area all in a beautiful old home built in the late 1700's. Elizabeth has thought of every comfort possible and is such a kind and caring host, I highly recommend this place! We had the suite on the top floor and the kitchen has an oven, fridge, microwave, kettle and a Kuerig machine as well as a French Press. The refrigerator is stocked with eggs, sausages, cheese, milk and juice and they also provide croissants each day. There is a beautiful courtyard with a fountain that is like an oasis in the middle of a very large (and often loud) Boston. There are several great restaurants only a 5 minute walk away: Monument Tavern, a Thai place and Legal Seafood Osteria. The Whole Foods is a 2 minute walk and the subway station is an easy 5 minute walk. This is a beautiful place to stay for anyone who dreads the thought of a cramped hotel room, or anyone who loves a unique travel experience. Oh and they also have a fireplace for chilly nights! Highly recommend!!!
We stayed here for 3 days and we thoroughly enjoyed it. First time in Boston and we loved the area. It was quiet at night. We had the small room but it was nicely decorated and cosy. The bathroom was lovely with a huge shower and complimentary toiletries. The small but impressive kitchen area had everything we needed, a Nespresso coffee machine with complimentary coffee pods, milk, water, tea, yoghurt, breakfast cereal and crossiants and many more items which were all replenished daily. We were very impressed what was in a very small area. The bedroom area is dark and we found it still dark with all the lights on, a bit difficult when drying your hair etc. Our room was very warm even with the air conditioning fan on. It was too noisy to leave on at night so we left the smaller fan on. The host was very welcoming and recommended restaurants and attractions. Nothing was a bother. We walked everywhere and didn't feel the need for public transport. There are a few restaurants nearby. One of the them is Momentum. They do great food. We would definitely return.
The Moroccan Luxury Suites was wonderful, the beds were so amazing, breakfast was awesome, the décor was stunning and Liz and Nina were so kind to us during our stay. Will definitely be back and would recommend to others!
We just stayed here on our honeymoon. It was gorgeous! The hostess was extremely friendly and helpful with everything. It was close to a subway exit. We were able to walk to nearby attractions. If we ever get to go back to Boston, we would come back and stay here. Highly recommended!! They completely exceeded our expectations.
OMG loved this place. Elizabeth the owner was fabulous with restaurant recommendations, things to do etc. We had the top floor suite and it was an oasis. Very spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. Loved reading and chilling in the living room area near the kitchen. It was so much better than staying in a hotel room. A place to spread out instead of being cramped in one room. The garden is also beautiful and a great place to have a morning coffee or read a book. And the room was stocked with some great foods to make your own breakfast. I would definitely recommend this place to others. When I first searched out the different neighbourhoods to stay in Boston I was a little skeptical as Charlestown is across the river from Downtown Boston. But reality is, that this gem of a place is only a 15 minute walk from the north end where all the Italian restaurants and bakeries are as well as not so far from Fanueil Hall and more. If I had chosen to stay in some of the other Boston areas they are equally as far or further from these areas. Also, it is a beautiful area full of brownstones, parks etc. I loved this area so much that if I every go back to Boston I would stay there again and at the Moroccan Luxury Suites. Thanks Elizabeth. We loved it.
Thoughtful attention to detail. Luxurious accommodations and ammenities. Nina is amazing and incredibly helpful. This is our new go to place when we are in Boston. Feels like you’re at home. Nice to be able to get to everything without having to deal with crowds and traffic everywhere. The Charlestown neighborhood was also fun to explore for history, food etc.
We visited Boston to celebrate our Anniversary and selected the Moroccan Luxury Suites for our accommodations. The room we stayed in was the smallest, but fit our needs. It was stylishly appointed, had a very nice bathroom, and a nice sitting area for breakfast. Breakfast is provided in room with a selection of items. The selection offered something for both my taste and my wife’s. Located in the Charlestown area a short distance from the more congested downtown, allows a slightly less frantic atmosphere. However, a subway stop is a short walk away so traversing the city is not bad at all. There is also a small garden space where you can relax and unwind after a long day of touring. The hosts are very accommodating and eager to help out and give advice. They even surprised us with flowers and a bottle of champagne to help us celebrate. If you are looking for something a little different and more personal I would highly recommend a stay at the Moroccan Luxury Suites. I would not mind staying with them again should we venture through Boston in the future.
