Presidential #15. You feel like your in an apartment and you live on the bottom. It’s loud. The place makes random loud thumps. For the price I don’t think it’s worth it. I swear the plumbing in this unit is loud. The bed squeaks bad. If I can hear in the kitchen then you know they hear the bed knocking.
Got a last minute room on Christmas. We stayed in the enchanted forest and enjoyed all the trees and lighting. The cider and cheesecake were great touches and cookies by the entrance. I felt it was a great value with the breakfast included and we both enjoyed the waterfall shower. Can’t wait to come back and try more rooms! It’s not the ritz, but a unique, quality hotel!
What a treat this place was! We stayed in Jungle Safari #7 and it was PERFECT! First enjoy an afternoon (from 1 to 3pm) checking out all the rooms, as the doors are left open for your curiosity. Then check in to your own adventure at 5pm; check-out is at noon. All rooms include a jetted tub, a flat screen tv, hot breakfast delivered (at whatever time you please), two slices of cheesecake, his and her bathrobes, free parking, sparkling cider on ice and a DVD player with access to their DVD library. We upgraded our stay with an in room couples massage! It was wonderful to check-in at 5 and soak in the tub; followed by our in-room massages and then slip right into our cozy bed. Other upgrades are available, such as for in-room food, champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, bath bombs. This trip was a last minute thing for us and I was impressed that I could book the room and our massages with such short notice! The place was located downtown, just a short Uber away from a wide selection of restaurants and nightlife. The front desk girls were very welcoming and friendly. Jungle Safari #7 was a perfect fit for us, the theme really helped us feel like we were getting away on a little vacation. Things to consider when booking a room: 1. some rooms have stairs, we opted for no stairs (no fun in a strange place when trying to get to the loo) 2. some rooms have round beds, we opted for a traditional square one (and ours was SOOOOO comfy!) 3. are the other furniture pieces in the room just for looks, or comfortable as well? Our only "critiques," would be the air conditioner was sub par (fortunately, it was cool and an open window did wonders) and if their could be a nightlight in the bathroom rather than leave a blaring bright light on. I highly recommend this place and look forward to returning. We had a blast! It was a special time for us!
This hotel lets you be in a forest with a waterfall shower, or pretend that you are overnighting at the white house, in the tropics with a huge aquarium, in Egypt like a pharaoh and about 20 other themes. Can't wait to stop into Boise next to try out another Anniversary Inn special. Breakfast included and delivered to your room whenever you ask for it. It is reasonably priced and so much fun.
Funny story. So every year my husband and I go to a new state for our anniversary. This year we were looking to go to Utah. While I was researching hotels, this came up in the feed. as I'm looking at the pictures, and falling in love, not realizing this is an Idaho. I was already sold on this place, then realized it was in a completely different state. I said honey, we're going to Idaho. This place is absolutely amazing. Now looking at the photos online, it does not do it justice. I thought it was really neat, but I was really expecting kind of Chincy props. But it was pretty darn cool. It is right next to college dorms. I was expecting it to be loud. But you don't really see anybody around. Before I get into the rooms, let me tell you about some of the perks. So we booked a couple months ago in the prime of summer, for September. Our total was pretty high. Both of our rooms were Dimond I believe. (But totally worth it). When we arrived, they were running a special the second night you get half off. Even though we had booked prior to the special, they honored it without us even asking. That was absolutely the best anniversary gift ever. In each of the rooms, they give you a bottle of water for each person, some chocolates with their logo on it. And the best part is they put a slice of cheesecake in the fridge for each person. Oh, and a bottle of chilled apple cider! How amazing is that! for a couple hours a day, they open all the doors to the unoccupied rooms so you can tour the different rooms. I cannot wait to come back and stay in more rooms. I just want to like, live there forever. The detail in these rooms, with the theme, is just amazing. I wish I could give them a hundred Stars. We only got to stay for two nights. And we picked a different room each night. Our first night we stayed in Treasure Island. It was absolutely amazing. So much fun. You do have to climb some stairs to get to The Loft at top, where the bed and TV are. The stairs are super creaky, so getting up in the middle of the night, you're going to wake your partner up. LOL. The jacuzzi tub is just an added bonus. There's no separate shower and the water basically falls from the ceiling. LOL It's really a tree up there. Kind of like taking a shower in a waterfall. I believe it's the only room with a balcony as well, which I loved. My only real complaint is the bed is hard as a rock. Woke up with a slight backache. Just not comfortable. Still totally worth it though. The second night we stayed in the Hollywood romance room. That was pretty awesome as well. Old pictures of movie stars on the wall. The bathroom is absolutely amazing. I think that was my favorite. lol I love the movie theater border. There are DVDs in the room to watch as well. It also has the jacuzzi tub, with the shower where the water falls from the ceiling LOL. The bed in that room was pretty hard as well. The pillows in both rooms were very uncomfortable as well. Definitely not a deal-breaker. They deliver breakfast to your room each morning. They give you a paper and you Circle what you want. You can choose between a bagel or croissant with ham and cheese or some kind of quiche. You can also get some fruit, coffee, and some juice. you pick the time and then drop it off at your door. This is definitely my most favorite Hotel I've ever stayed in in my life. Honestly, I have no desire to ever go back to Idaho. But I will definitely be going back just to stay here.
We stayed in the fisherman’s wharf. It was nice. The bed is hard to get out of. The bathtub is a crazy getting out. It’s not my favorite. We enjoyed our stay. The late night snacks are delicious . Breakfast pastry is the best.
We loved our themed room, Swiss Family Robinson. We also loved touring all of the other rooms while there which you tour while they clean open rooms so you can see how well they clean between guests. The staff were all helpful and nice. The included breakfasts were delicious. Flatbread pizza was also good. Wish the rooms had microwaves for late night snacks and that the bathrooms had fans, but those are my only complaints.
This was our 4th time to stay. Every year it is so much fun. It is a little spendy but worth it if you can save up the money. They do give some great deals. You do get a lot of extras with your room. The tub is so great. The motel needs some updates but it is worth it to try.
Wonderful, friendly service. Great room with no noise and we plan to try more of the theme rooms! A little hard to find but Google Maps will get you there. Because of the nice perks, clean room, cheesecake with beverage and a great breakfast in the morning, the price is great. A lovely couples retreat! The one thing we would recommend is curtains to block the light that comes through the blinds. They may already be there and we missed them, but I'll look when we return.
This property has a wide range of rooms that are unique and cool, if you select well. The rooms can be fun or frustrating based on what you want out of your experience. We stayed in the Safari room the first night and other than the tub and decor the room was pretty normal except that the shower was over the tub and was a bit awkward. The second night we stayed in the Treasure Island room which was really cool, but dangerous if you weren't careful due to the open areas around the "ship" and the bathtub being on a "beach" that was not level. I would stay here again, but I suggest you go for one of the rooms that doesn't have "terrain" or open areas. Both rooms did have awkward showers.
