Lovely place to stay and if you have a pet, there is a very large park behind the hotel. For those of you looking for a pet friendly hotel via Orbitz, keep in mind the pet fee at Residence Inn is $100! I didn't realize that when I booked and Residence Inn does not refund your money if you cancel the booking. Things to keep in mind while you are looking for a place to stay.
My room was clean when I checked in and the housekeeping staff kept it that way. The facilities were great overall and the breakfast was "better than the average hotel breakfast". In general the staff was very helpful but, when I first checked in, the front desk staff was a bit rude. Beyond that one experience, the other staff members were very helpful.
Good choice if you have business at the university across the street. You can easily walk or the hotel offers free rides in their shuttle. A few restaurants within walking distance. Parking for rental car. Easy drive downtown. Hotel breakfast was minimal/average quality. Lots of seating. Room was interesting- a mini apartment style- bedroom, large living room, kitchen area and medium size bath. Exit the lobby where you check in and walk to your room - a little awkward at night and up stairs to my room - a little difficult with no elevator but not bad. The nice room was worth it. Comfortable bed, good heating. In summers they have an outdoor pool and grills/patio. I would recommend and return here. Friendly staff too. Thank you
Awesome place to stay. Lotta room to get space. Clean, nice friendly atmosphere.
My first trip ever to Boise. I was there on business and house hunting. This property is in a very good location: convenient from the airport, close to downtown, so worked very well for me. (A little tricky finding it the first time, but after that I was fine.) The rooms are clean and well kept, a wonderful breakfast buffet every morning. Only slight comment of being less than ideal: it's noisy sometimes. People don't control their children well and hence I was subjected to being awakened by shouting and running. But that would not keep me from staying there again
Have stayed a number of times and the customer service is all the same...Great.. The employees go out of their way to make sure your stay there is a good experience. The breakfast was awesome and location is perfect for downtown Boise activities.
We stayed at the residence inn because of the location to the Boise state campus and the Morrison Center. We were able to easily walk the few blocks between the hotel and where the ballet was being held and avoid the lines for exiting and entering the parking lot
First of many times I will stay here over the next four to 10 months. Very convenient / good location. Hotel staff gave me great information and directions about places in the city I wanted or needed to get to. Great value. And a nice homey feeling.
We stayed at his hotel for a wedding we were attending. They picked us up at the airport, took us to our restaurant and even took us to the store. Wonderful breakfast in the morning and rooms were very spacious. The location was great - very close to everything. Would definitely come back!
The hotel is like a little townhome complex. Very clean. Tremendous breakfast! Staff is super friendly and helpful. Quiet and peaceful.
My wife and I along with two other couples drove up from Ventura, CA to attend our Niece's High School graduation. The ceremony was held in the arena at Boise State University. This hotel was within walking distance. The room was very comfortable and clean. I would recommend to other travelers.
The room was like living in a studio apartment. It was clean and very spacious!
Lovely rooms, more like studio apartments than hotel rooms. There was even a full-sized fridge and working fireplace! In addition their continental breakfast was an actual full breakfast, with multiple choices, not just doughnuts or muffins. Would definitely stay here again!
attended bsu game, within walking distance to stadium, reasonably priced
Great location adjacent to BSU and downtown entertainment. Hotel services are strong (daily breakfast, free shuttle, etc) and the rooms are well appointed. The rooms comfortably host several adults and the layout and kitchen make the property ideal for those traveling with children.
Visiting Boise State University. The hotel was perfect for us. Great location, quite, and large room.
The dining area was expecially attractive and inviting--even had an operating fireplace. The staff were very warm and considerate and, I felt, went the extra mile in accomodating a couple of special requests.
