The coldest months in Boise are December and January, when visitors can expect to encounter temperatures as low as 24�F and highs of only 37�F or 38�F. The warmest months are July and August, when lows are 60�F and highs are about 90�F. April and October are pleasant, with highs in the low-to-mid 50s F and lows are in the 40s F. March and November are somewhat cooler than April and October. The hot season includes May, June and September as well as July and August, although May temperatures only reach highs of 72�F and in June and September the highs are about 80�F. Precipitation is slight but steady all year round, although the wettest month is December and hardly any rain falls in July. Bring a collapsible umbrella, and even in the hot season, a light jacket can be useful at night.
