I've stayed here many times, and have always had a good stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, and they keep them updated. The free breakfast is always nice, fresh, and clean. All of this for a great price!
We were happy about the free parking and the room size, but on our first day, no one ever came to clean the room (we were gone a few hours in the morning, then left in the early afternoon so I thought we gave them enough time to swap out towels, etc.). The shower curtain was a little old and dirty in spots too. The hotel is about 10 minutes from the downtown area of restaurants and shops, so that was convenient but I'm not sure I would stay here again. The front desk staff was always nice and the continental breakfast was standard, but something was just lacking overall...
Don't let the name put you off. It is just off the I84. Maybe it was a last minute deal, but it was under $100US and very clean and comfortable. It also had a couple of charging stations for portable devices in the room, something I have not seen very often and very handy since we carry two phones and two iPods. Nice not to have to unplug lamps and reach behind dressers. Breakfast included with room rate. Not the Ritz Carlton, but overall very good, and a nice find among the other pricier choices.
Clean and quiet. Bigger rooms are a plus when traveling with a bigger family. This place has rooms with 2 King beds which allowed us to spread out. Beds are a bit hard but overall good option for passing through town.
The room was OK but they raised my rate by $50.00 a night because they said a convention was in town. They did not mention that when I checked in. I am a Choice Hotel diamond member. I will not stay at this Hotel again. My rate went from $89.30 a night to $168.15 a night. I have stayed here many times but this was the first time they changed my rates. When I talked to them about it they said that was there right to do so.
I stayed here while on a business trip with my family. I was having a horrible experience. I went to the pool that was overtaken by a family of 20+ that was throwing beach balls and floaties all around the pool. I put my legs in the hot tub for 3 minutes and got hit by at least 5 beach balls with no apology and I got smashed with water. I went back to my room extremely agitated and tried to go to keep only to find out that there was that exact same family right upstairs with their kids running around all night long. I went back to the front desk and they understood that I was upset and accommodated my needs. Josh and Deja told me that I was welcome to stay in the pool after closing and get my swimming in. I was so amazed by this customer service and accomdations I had received. Deja and Josb were very understanding and handled the situation very professionally. I recommend going here because no matter how bad the scenario can be the service will out do it. Shout out to Deja and Josh for the wonderful service and experience. I wish all hotels could have workers like you guys!
Overall, this is a very nice property for the price (I had a rate of $80). It was tastefully decorated. There was a small sitting area with love seat and desk, king-sized bed, decent sheets and pillows. It was clean and comfortable. Plenty of hot water and good pressure. Good service at front desk. Nice touch of "to go" breakfast bags for those like me who had to head to airport before hot breakfast opened... Just a granola bar, apple and bottle of water but that's more than most places offer to the 5am-ers. I have one small concern. My room was on the ground floor. The long opaque drapes could not be drawn. They were 'fixed' on the sides of the window and could not be drawn across the window. So the only thing between me and the parking lot was a very transparent chiffon cloth. After dark, I sure didn't like that everyone in the parking lot could see me in my pajamas in my room. Not particularly safe either.
I was told that they would not allow me to cancel my reservation. I tried to cancel my room 2 weeks in advanced. You re out of luck if your plans change. Called hotel and they told me no they can not cancel my room. I stay at choice hotels often and plans change. Never had a problem up until now
I Stayed for six days while my husband had surgery and was in the hospital. I loved the hotel. It was close to the interstate but it was not noisy at all. Located in more of a residential area. It was so quiet, I didn't hear any noise above or beside my room. The breakfast had a nice variety, with more than most hotel breakfasts. The staff could have been more friendly however. I would recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a nice quiet room that won't break the bank.
I travel weekly and Nationally for business. All I need is a clean hotel room in a good area. If they have a few breakfast choices I'm good. My stay at the comfort Inn was awful. The room on the 1st floor had been smoked in. The pillows had a stink to them. We had 4 rooms for 4 days or I would have left the hotel for new digs. But it was too much to move everyone. I bought Febreeze and new pillow cases. It still was not working. I asked to be moved. They moved me and agreed to help me move since I was all unpacked. No one helped me move. My new room was better, but still not good the carpeting was sticky. I asked to reimbursed for the Febreeze and room re freshener. They would not , stating that they could only use the spec brand for comfort inn. Meanwhile. They gave the febreeze to another guest when he complained about the stink in the room. I had a package delivered to the hotel for my meetings that week. It was received and signed for. They could not find it. I knew it had been delivered and was there some where. They finally found it stating it was in the owners office, she thought it was for her. My name was clearly on the package. I went two of the four days with out tangible materials I need for the meetings that week. This was actually worse than the bad room. Since I was there for meeting. The breakfast was horrible. We all agreed this was the worst hotel in our travel history. Since I use Trip advisor weekly for hotel reviews and restaurant reviews. I felt I should pay it forward to the reviewers that use this app as well. Its a cheaper hotel. But just not worth saving a buck. Meanwhile the manager never addressed the concerns during my stay. Very poor indeed.
