Hotel 43

Recent guest reviews

3 night stay very comfortable. Little difficulty finding movies on tv felt like parental guidance locked me out from prior guest. Room was clean, nice handicap shower. No mini-bar but you do have refrig with vending machines down the hall. Walking distance to all downtown shops and sights. Rooms clean and comfortable.

Stayed here for our anniversary. Everything was great. Clean, quiet, and modern. Shower was nice and the bed was comfortable. Most everything is within walking distance. Food at the hotel is pricey but there are lots of other things to chose from nearby.

The room was nice, bed mattress (king) was firm, pillows were comfortable, flat screen tv was smaller than the room should have, but adequate. Bathroom was upscale & modern design - shower only but great water pressure. Would have been a much better visit but it was Halloween so throughout the night loud voices echoed through the hallways & young males knocked on doors yelling 'trick or treat' & various obscenities. The fire alarm went off at 2:45 a.m. (there was no evacuation - still, the fire depts. trucks sat running their diesel engines in front of the hotel for 45 minutes during their facility check). Good thing it was 'fall back' from daylight savings time)! Hotel is well situated near lots of downtown activities - Big City coffee is 4 blocks away down Grove & opens early (0600). Also, the hotel has Chandlers restaurant on ground floor which is one of the top choices in Boise. I have stayed here before & find 43 to be one of the best hotels in town, & will stay here again.

On the way to Colorado for Thanksgiving, this was a good resting place. Chandlers Restaurant is a pleasant surprise, with a New Yorky jazz martini bar this is refreshing. Food very good and wait help especially good. Valet person really terrific.

Convenient location with Chandlers Restaurant on the property

we had a nice visit to Boise and had dinner at chandlers dinner was great and the room was nice enough. The staff did a great job for us.

We have always heard the hype about Hotel 43, so we expected that extra something to make this unique and worth spending the extra money. To be fair, it is a clean, nice up-to-date room with a comfortable bed and a superb restaurant - after that, can't say it is anything special. The room is tiny, bathroom is tiny, nothing special about the room or amenities, you have to pay for parking! For a special weekend, I expected a lot more for the price. The Oxford Suites off Overland was way cheaper and offered way more - so disappointed with this hotel for the price.

This is a wonderful boutique hotel, with beautiful & unique decor, comfortable rooms, very helpful staff. The restaurant next door, Chandlers, has excellent food and wine, and a lovely outdoor patio. This is the 3rd time I've stayed at Hotel 43; I love staying here in the center of Boise.

Grove was booked so this was a great option- excellent location. Room pretty good except for maid busting through Do Not Disturb sign :-( $10 bucks a night kind of an insult for parking. Chandlers the BEST.

This was my first visit to Boise and it was on business. I really didn't expect much, but Hotel 43 was a very warm and inviting stay. Staff was very professional and helpful. Rooms were well appointed. Basic amenities i.e. breakfast/coffee shop, workout facility were just right. And, the location is perfect for both both business and a great selection of dining options.

Returned to this hotel after a week of skiing in Sun Valley secifically for the bed! And to get a steak & potato at Chandler's restaurant downstairs. Slept so well we almost missed our noon flight the next day!

Paradoxically in vast Idaho one of the smallest rooms ever. However, quality bed & pillows.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel 43 for Valentines weekend. The hotel was very nice. My only complaint(s) were that there is no fridge, and the water pressure in the shower wasn't up to par. I know that this sounds like my experience was horrible, not the case. The service was excellent, the room was very clean and comfortable, and the parking was easy! (Not always the case when staying in downtown Boise) I would come again, just hopefully the room we stayed in just needed some maintenance in the shower :)

I had no previous information on this hotel and made the selection due to closeness to the Quest center, Capitol/Downtown and the Convention Center. In short, it was more than I expected. I'd recommend it to others without hesitance. [...]

Stayed for our anniversary. Very nice rooms with nice city views. Walking distance to the Boise BURN AFL game, then walked to downtown for nightlife and fun. Very nice.

This is a very nice hotel. Location in very good in downtown Boise. It's easy to get around Boise and I would pick a more reasonable hotel further around with a few more amenities. for the price.
