A rough start to our 2-day stay. We were going to stay & relax before we had to do a Formal, then to a Funeral. Because of the issues we paid for a night without staying in hotel & it was even commented on when we arrived before our event that we wasted a night. We spent as little time at the hotel as possible. Since we didn't book directly through the hotel, booking through Expedia at over $400 a night w/ a tiny discount, we were treated like we 2nd class or something. Not a great stay. I can say this will be the last time we stay at this hotel unless something major changes. We stay because our friends stay and they get great service. They are absolutely dismissive with us. Weird because we tip better, we're never loud, we never ask for anything, never complain about the room. The issue is always the handicapped parking they continue to violate and act like we're the issue. He ask nicely and theyre dismissive orthe last time their chef ws parked in the slot and told me I could come back later. So we did, a day later, wasting over $450 on a night not to stay the night. Then he made flipped comment about "well your reservation were made through Expedia so things were bound to go wrong" & told me to make it w/ the hotel next time to get service. We had requested the romantic package w/ red wine for the challenging week we'd ha. I followed up the day before & put the credit card on file. Got to the room & receipt was on stick in flowers. Not Romantic. They just didn't care.
