Hotel and room were clean, staff was friendly. However, our room was stuck off in the most remote corner of the hotel, down a bunch of twisting corridors, far from the elevator, difficult to get to. The hotel was almost empty while we were there, but all the rooms in that remote corner were occupied. We were next to a 20-something party that started at 2 a.m. on night one, and next to a screaming baby and active children on night two. The hotel could have done better to control noise and proximity to other guests. Room had a bare floor instead of carpeting, which would have helped to dampen the noise.

We were going to BOISE STATE basketball game. We stayed at this hotel before. And it was a great location. Beds very comfortable, large selection of television stations, and very good breakfast.

I stayed here one night. The room was on the 7th floor and appeared to be recently renovated. The front desk gentleman was great, very helpful and pleasant. The location was close enough to walk downtown and to some nearby places. Don't miss atavola. Great value, I would definitely stay here again.

Close to city center and medical services. Room was quiet. A no frills hotel that is pet friendly.

Traveling through the state needed a place to sleep for a few hours. Served its purpose but hallways VERY outdated boarder line gross, rooms were ok, floors very dirty, noise level in the hotel was loud at times.

The staff was super friendly and helpful, the room was big and had a great view with a balcony, and the bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on! I will definitely stay here again.

Hotel staff was welcoming & accommodating.. Room was very good for the rest after long day driving. We located to have dinner downtown Boise. A bit older property but good!

Staff was pleasant, room was clean, loved hard wood floors

The first part of our stay went well, then the ac went out and we had to change rooms. On day our room was never cleaned and the bed was not made. Also, there was not a contenintal breakfast served. We were told the price we paid did not cover a contenintal breakfast, I saw others having breakfast.

Good and immediate customer service. The staff came about broken chair in the room and was replaced immediately.

The pool wasn't accessible cause under some kinda maintenance they did not disclosed when I book the room and the reason I booked was because of the pool the bathroom had mold and it look like the was on the of the door look like it was coming off when I ask about how come they didn't say anything about the pool not working the staff pretty much told sorry about th inconvenience and have a great day I ask to speak to a manager they told he wasn't there and just left it at that no sense of urgency or even try to help me resolve the situation

Red Lion Hotel Boise Downtowner is a great place to stay in Boise right outside of the hustle and bustle of downtown. The staff, from the shuttle drivers to the front desk, were all friendly and courteous and made my stay thoroughly enjoyable.

Marcelino was working the front desk, he was absolutely great, kind, and very accomodating.. The.hotel was clean and comfortable. Nice facilities and well worth your business!!!!

Great! Will be back for sure Live the balcony and hot tub Great place to relax for the night

Comfortable and clean. Would stay there when in the area.

Hotel is in good condition with pleasant staff. Room was clean and well maintained.

Enjoyed our overnighter! Very nice room. Breakfast st the Resturant was excellent. We will definitely be back!

Loved the room. Loved the restaurant and hotel bar complete with pool tables. Fun stay.

A pretty good option if you want to be near downtown. The parking lot in front makes it harder than it should be to orient yourself and get to the street to walk towards downtown, though. The room itself was nice enough, but there were a few little things that would have made it more convenient - a towel hook in the bathroom, an information card with the correct wifi information (the card on the desk referred to a nonexistent wifi network), a keycard that didn't lose its charge every single day just from being in my pocket. And it would be nice if they gave you the option to reuse your towels to conserve water like so many other hotels do (I didn't see anything indicating that they provide this option). These are pretty minor things and reflect a business traveler's perspective - the hotel otherwise seemed like a nice enough option.

This was a comfortable, convenient overnight stay on our road trip
