The pool wasn't accessible cause under some kinda maintenance they did not disclosed when I book the room and the reason I booked was because of the pool the bathroom had mold and it look like the was on the of the door look like it was coming off when I ask about how come they didn't say anything about the pool not working the staff pretty much told sorry about th inconvenience and have a great day I ask to speak to a manager they told he wasn't there and just left it at that no sense of urgency or even try to help me resolve the situation

Red Lion Hotel Boise Downtowner is a great place to stay in Boise right outside of the hustle and bustle of downtown. The staff, from the shuttle drivers to the front desk, were all friendly and courteous and made my stay thoroughly enjoyable.

Marcelino was working the front desk, he was absolutely great, kind, and very accomodating.. The.hotel was clean and comfortable. Nice facilities and well worth your business!!!!

Great! Will be back for sure Live the balcony and hot tub Great place to relax for the night

Comfortable and clean. Would stay there when in the area.

Hotel is in good condition with pleasant staff. Room was clean and well maintained.

Enjoyed our overnighter! Very nice room. Breakfast st the Resturant was excellent. We will definitely be back!

Loved the room. Loved the restaurant and hotel bar complete with pool tables. Fun stay.

A pretty good option if you want to be near downtown. The parking lot in front makes it harder than it should be to orient yourself and get to the street to walk towards downtown, though. The room itself was nice enough, but there were a few little things that would have made it more convenient - a towel hook in the bathroom, an information card with the correct wifi information (the card on the desk referred to a nonexistent wifi network), a keycard that didn't lose its charge every single day just from being in my pocket. And it would be nice if they gave you the option to reuse your towels to conserve water like so many other hotels do (I didn't see anything indicating that they provide this option). These are pretty minor things and reflect a business traveler's perspective - the hotel otherwise seemed like a nice enough option.

This was a comfortable, convenient overnight stay on our road trip

This hotel is located on the outer edge of downtown Boise so "Downtowner" title is somewhat misleading. The facility it's self is older with some updates in lobby/restaurant area. Hotel staff were kind. The room was fine nothing special. The blankets were thin so had to get others from the hotel staff. Overall my stay was comfortable for the money.

The room was very clean, updated furnishings, extremely comfortable bed; all for a very low price.

The Red Lion in Downtown was perfect for the last minute economical expense. The staff was excellent and the check in process was fast and easy. We would for sure stay here again.

It was a Red Lion, nothing fancy, same amenities that any other regular hotel would have. I'd stay here only if my other go to hotels in Boise are not available.

It was great! The shuttle service from the airport was on point thanks to Mr. Dale.

Friendly Staff! First room, air was not working, phone was not working and there was not a remote for the TV, Front Desk moved us to another room promptly! Very Clean and updated lobby and rooms! Very comfortable beds! Nice Pool and Hot Tub! Great Bar and Restaurant! Top Quality for a great Price! Great Location!

Walking distance from great bars and restaurants. Nice hot tub.

Staff was extremely friendly. Breakfast buffet was a great bargin and the food was good. Hotel is aging but rooms were very clean.

This is the worst hotel I have stayed at. The staff was rude and very unhelpful. The cleaning staff was terrible. Left room service trays in our room that were dirty. Forgot to leave shampoo and other amenities. When I called the front desk to ask for extra towels and shampoo I was told I had to come get them. I thought this was a full service hotel. I could have gotten better service t a Super8.

Staff was accommodating and the hotel was good. The morning buffet was a great value with decent food. It was perfect for feeding my daughter before we cheered on the Broncos.
