Never again. Too many things to say about front desk, communication with the property, uncomfortable rooms. Then I get a charge that’s declined on another card that I reserved room under. After I checked in and put another card to cover room and charges. Acclinting bad also it appears, as it’s 5 am ind they trying to double charge me .

Wow. Where to begin. I guess you get what you pay for. The hot tub was broken, no bubbles, but they let people use it. Literally anyone, in fact, because there’s no lock on the gate. The water in the pool was literally green. The AC in my room didn’t work. They sent a repair guy. He got the fan to work, but when I adjusted the temp, it stopped working. Needed a replacement coffee maker, because that didn’t work either. The staff was nice and friendly. And there was a breakfast that had eggs and sausage and stuff like that. But the rest of the hotel really needs some attention.

There was no air conditioning in the hallways or elevator. The air wouldn’t work in our room properly. When we first arrived there was nobody working the front dest for 10-15 minutes and there was just a line of people waiting to be helped out the door. We felt very bad for the only lady working that evening. The Water pressure in the shower is awful. For paying the price we did I thought we would have had a nicer stay.

Pool was green. While the hot tubs location remains permanent year round, the water inside it seems to vanish. We waited 5 minutes to check in simply because there was no one at the front desk. Over all a very ghetto experience for its price. To their credit, they are planning a remodel. Regardless, I don’t plan on making a return.

I understand this is an older hotel and some things cant be helped but cleanliness was a big issue with this hotel. There was garbage all over outside that was never picked up the whole time we were there. The halways were absolutely disgusting. Wall paper was pealing in a lot of places.

The property and hotel is very rundown and dirty. The woman at the front desk was by herself at check in and was stressed out with phone ringing and people waiting but was courteous and professional. The AC in the room was working but never cooled down for comfortable sleeping. The balcony off of the room was filthy. The “actual” room seemed clean and beds and sheets were clean but overall very rundown. The pool was not clean and very off color. The hot tub was drained. There were no lounges at the pool and the entire area was very dirty. The entrance doors to the lobby would not close. I’ve stayed here for the last 25 years when visiting Boise but it has a time for a major update.

Book somewhere else & don't feel the heartache. Long wait to check in, one desk agent & multiple people trying to check in. But when we needed assistance, front desk disappeared. The room air conditioner was louder than a freight train and did not chill the room down. Light switch in vanity area was broken & had to unscrew the lightbulbs. Pool was full of algae & unsanitary. Breakfast we paid for looked like it was cooked by a 5 year old. We went out for breakfast each day instead. Overall poor place to stay & Red Lion reputation has vanished.
