Loved the story and photos if Ira and Sheila's purchase of the dilapidated house in 2010 and the extensive renovation done in 2013. Each room is different and charming in its own way. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. We had a sandwich at The Garage and dessert at Bottega. Would recommend both.

The property is beautiful. The owner is great and it is a very unique and fun place to stay.

We liked the Victorian design of the home. It was beautifully decorated for the holidays. Sheila knew how to make breakfast warm and friendly. She was very accommodating and knew the area well for recommendations on restaurants. We enjoyed our stay. On a little negative note, the bed mattress was noisy and the bathroom tub/shower were a little precarious for older people, but we managed. All in all, it was a wonderful stay.

Sheila, the owner is delightful. Great breakfasts!

Great B&B. Beautiful mansion with incredibly interesting history and an excellent location. Our hostess was gracious and accommodating. Will absolutely stay again when in the area.

Overall, it was a good experience, but our initial reception was a little frustrating. I'm all for the security measures she's got going, but if you have a note on the door for guests to call when they get there to check in, you really shouldn't make them wait on a hot porch because you feel the need to discuss that their name comes up differently on the caller ID than the name used to make the reservation. Honestly, I felt a little berated. Other than that, everything was fine.

Spectacular 100 plus year old mansion - redone beautifully. Quite elegant!

The hostess was great and helpful. They need to let people know where parking is in their info.

An interesting restoration of a Victorian house, too cluttered with uncomfortable furniture, pictures, and bric-a-brack. Our room was in an attic dormer, too small for the bed, with a lingering odor of oldness and Fabreeze. Accessing our room required a long climb up four flights of stairs.Breakfast with weak coffee was served on a TV table with my six foot frame perched on a small upholstered loveseat. Hard to locate in the one-way streets of the city downtown. Overall, I can't recommend it to anyone who isn't interested in an antiques flea-market.

Beautiful property,kind hostess.

Each room is very unique. The rooms on the top floor are technically in the attic and have steep-pitched ceilings, which were awkward for getting around. Overall, made me feel like I was staying with my grandmother. While breakfast was provided, and it changed a little every day, it was geared towards those who were adverse to spices, and other than salt and pepper, nothing else was provided or offered. Our room was a little worn, with loose carpet and stains on some floors.

The house and host were perfect. Shiela made our stay special

The stay was great. You can enjoy the rich history of this home.

This property is charming! Can't wait to revisit when I have more time to explore the area.

Friendly welcome with great info about the area. Upgraded us to the honeymoon suite. Breakfast was delicious! Furnishings exquisite!!

Very lovely antique sort of place. Lots of character. Very friendly staff. Very accommodating!

The character of the building and each individual room was very unique. However beyond an initial contact at check in and our plates

its a funky old property for sure. Its right in the heart of the five points area lots to do and eat.
