I love the hotel. When I booked it showed a rooftop bar. That is closed. I think it is available for private bookings. It is surprising there is no pool. The great things. I was greeted by a valet who unloaded my baggage and took to my room. Parked my car. It was late and he suggested if I had not eaten that the restaurant was still open. I ate at the hotel restaurant 4 times. It was delicious and convenient just stay in. Even though I mentioned some negatives I still give the hotel 5 stars. I would come back. BTW: I think my granddaughter and new husband are staying there on their wedding night right before flying out for their honeymoon. That happened because they visited me at the hotel while I was in for her Bridal Shower at the Country Club. Sorry I write a book!! LOL

We had a fun stay in Homewood. The town is a fun place to visit, and staying in the hotel made it even easier. The hotel breakfast was great. Their avocado toast was one of the best I ever had.

My sister and I stayed after my vocal cord treatment at UAB. We had dinner at Little Donkey two doors down. We will have breakfast at Edgar’s next door before heading back. Great beds, quiet, lovely staff. This is our second time coming and we will do it again.

Room dirty and poor service

Floors were filthy and room was dirty. On our second day, we requested that floors be cleaned and soap to be refilled- both requests were ignored. Very poor service for a”4” star hotel!

Bag of food left in hallway overnight till next afternoon. Flooding on first floor closed coffee bar & restaurant. Just inconvenient. Staff was very friendly & nice. When it cost as much as it does to stay here we expect better.
