Parking is tight get there early

We got trapped in the elevator and when we pressed the alarm and called, no one answered. It just rang for about 10-mins before the door finally opened on its own. When we got to our room, we called the fd to let them know. They didn’t immediately pick up and they didn’t seem surprised to hear about the elevator. So irresponsible.

Nice property..in the downtown area! Fitness Center was awesome!

I liked everything about the property it was walking distance to everything. It was a six minute walk to my Dr appointment

Paid for a fire place room. Did not get it , I got a double room for my anniversary !! My room was not clean I have pics. Had to clean it myself, stained furniture, did not sit on any furniture , crumbs on desk and chair . Was not what the pics said 😢

Staff I dealt with was good. Location is nice, highly recommend the black market bar & grill (staff recommended). The only thing I didn’t like was paying for parking but being downtown understandable. $10 but the spots seem to be limited.

Super clean. Efficient staff.

Very nice staff and wasn’t expecting a full kitchen in the room. Very nice!

close to event, dining, easy access to freeways, short distance to airport

After coming in late off a flight I was tired and this was perfect! Nice bed and clean room.

Friendly and helpful staff who went the extra mile! Parking is extra in the hotel lot but metered spots were free on weekends in Birmingham, and there were plenty across the street from the hotel. Would gladly stay here again.

We loved the location and the room. We all want to stay there again.

Our experience was phenomenal. We had to evacuate from Florida and we decided heading west would've been the safest route. We don't not regret our decision. The hotel is near many great, variety restaurants. When we decided to stay an extra night the staff was kind enough to make this possible considering we booked through Orbitz. They even gave us the rate we got it for online. The staff were extremely efficient. The hot breakfast had great selections.

We had a very spacious room with queen pull out and king size bed. Very comfortable and clean, comfortable bed and pillows. As usual, the queen pull-out was uncomfortable, but my son put the mattress on the floor. The cleaning person very nicely made the bed on the floor the next day, sensitive to our preferences. That was noteworthy and welcome! Very nice staff. Breakfast could be improved (fresher pastries/bagels, there was no yogurt or fruit). Overall, a very good option if you need to be within walking distance of everything UAB.

I have done a lot of traveling, domestic as well as international. This hotel was exceptional! The staff was friendly, my room was higher quality than expected, and hot water was plentiful. Restaurants like the Fish Market, Glory Bound Gyro, and Cafe DuPont are about a 5 minute drive. The only downside is that parking is $10 per night. Great experience!

The STAFF was awesome!!! I will definetely use them the next time I am in Birmingham

great location, clean rooms, and friendly staff. Everything is within walking distance and great shops just a short drive away

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We are very sorry to hear of your experience. Although our elevators are routinely maintained, like all machines, they can have challenges from time to time. We appreciate your understanding.
