Registration staff were very welcoming. Encouraged us to ask if any else was needed. Our room had a very comfortable king sized bed as well as a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. Breakfast was served 6 am to 9 am 7 days a week. Both hot an cold foods were offered. There many resturants in the area including one next door.
Price was under $100, about $80 less than a similar place just south of the hotel. Beds clean, rooms in decent shape. Free breakfast. Fairly close to the expressway. Friendly staff. Free newspaper. Decent cable. Well worth the money.
Stayed here for two nights on business, the lobby is being renovated and already looking great. The rooms are redone and the bed is fantastically comfortable! The staff is phenomenal and I recommend staying here. I have been a traveling salesman for 10 years and a Diamond Choice member.
Easily found off the I-81, and made to feel welcome by desk clerk. Bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was yummy...bacon, eggs, variety of pastries, juices, coffee. Thought about going to a lesser expensive motel next door, but glad I didn't . I don't think I would have gotten as nice a room.......and what was best were the suggestions posted in the elevator, as to how guests were expected to behave. Too bad in this day and age, folks wouldn't think of it on their oown, but there you are !!
Stayed at this property while attending a wedding nearby and was pleasantly surprised. The room was under $100 and I didn't have high expectations, however, it was beyond lovely. The grounds are kept very clean, the rooms are nice, and the complimentary breakfast was wonderful. The lobby area was large and kept very clean as well. The room was quiet and sleep quality was great. The front desk staff was very helpful. If in the area, I would stay here again.
The reception area and corridors were a bit dated but the room was clean and tidy. It had obviously been refurbished. The beds were comfortable. In the reception area there is an area to sit. Breakfast was good.
Stayed one night on our way down to NYC. Hotel was just off main freeway and easy to find. It was a short drive to downtown, where there were lots of restaurants and a couple brew pubs. Room was spacious and bathroom large. Three adults stayed comfortably. Everything in room worked well. There is work-out room but no indoor pool. Breakfast was very good combination of hot and cold items. We did not leave hungry. Only down point was billing, Booked thru Reservation Counter (not a big fan of these reservation sites). Paid upfront room amount in Sept 146$ (176 Canadian) plus 7.99 fee (10.15 Canada), bill from hotel in October was 107$ US. Almost 40 dollar difference US, which I find strange.
We spent one night here with our 95 pound dog. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Our room was clean but could use an update. There was construction going on down the hall from us, so I have a feeling that an update will happen on this room very soon. Even without an update, it was good for the night. The beds were comfortable and we had everything that we needed. Breakfast was good, too.
The hotel is a little shocking when you walk in -- a throwback to the 80's. However, front desk check in person was very friendly and efficient (we arrived about midnight, and completed the check in within a few minutes). Overall, hotel is old (corridors were a shocker) but room was clean (and it had been refurbished in the last year or so). Breakfast the next morning was good (and attendant was very friendly)
This place used to work well for us. We travel with our dog. We haven't been there in two years. I don't know if it is this way in all the rooms, of just dog friendly rooms, but they have taken up the carpet and replaced it with very slippery tile, and laminate. Not only is that hard for a dog to keep their footing on, it is very noisy with their toenails. Also, it's HARD and cold to lay down on. We stayed in five Comfort Inns on this trip. This was the only one like this. I'm sorry to say, we won't be back. If the dogs not happy, we aren't happy.
