Immediately upon arrival, I had to pay for the room. After they swiped my card they told me there's currently no running water and they're working on it and it will be done within the next few hours. Not exactly something you want to hear especially now that they just charged you full retail for the room. The room itself wasn't bad at all... it's what you expect and it fit our family of four just fine. The bathroom is small, and the sink is in the hallway with a vanity type set up. The breakfast was good though. I wouldn't have paid the amount I did for the room... but if you can get it at a good value, it's not bad.
Excellent service, when internet was not working well, they called the company, and fixed it. Room and bathroom are ok, and very clean, but minimal: tiny round table in llieu of desk, small chairs, small dresser that also is the TV stand, small bathroom with that sticky bottom that cannot be properly cleaned, ever. We stopped here as the weather was really bad on I-81, and this was very easy to find, with several places to eat nearby. We got the AAA discount, and breakfast is included, quite a good value. Bed are super comfortable, but as soon as our neighbor walked in the room, we could hear everything, even the roll of toilet paper being used! This hotel does have rooms for pet owners, which is cool. All in all, a good value.
Despite the girls that work there are very nice, friendly and helpful. The owner should be ashamed of this hotel. The "fraud' feeling not left me during our stay there. We are traveling a lot, and sometime, when we have no choice are staying in very cheap motels, but this one bet all of them. This inn is so shabby and out-dating, that I was afraid that something will be off or broken in a any minute. However everything went well, and beds were even comfortable, so we slept well. Honestly, we better chose any other option that Comfort Inn next time because of this franchise. Because even breakfast was not satisfactory as usual; eggs and sausages was luke warm, yes, waffles was OK, but only our son eat them. and PS.. If I am not believing any good reviews after this experience, what should I do? It is just Disappointing.:(
Have stayed here regularly. Always a good choice. Convenient to Rt 81, good breakfast, good internet, staff is friendly and helpful. Highway has enough places to eat and a good variety. It's a regular stop for me.
The hotel is older but extremely clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good with great staff and good fresh food. An excellent choice for that price point.
My 1st impression walking into the room was: "Wow, this is very nice". It was elegant, a large and semi-separated suite. I found it very comfortable. Having the king size bed on one side of the space, with a partial divider from a reading couch, gave the feeling of bedroom/living room.
Bed was very nice and room comfortable enough. Some of the fixtures and furniture, while very clean, show a lot of wear. Breakfast was ok. Powdered eggs and link sausage. Then the normal fair. They do have a attendant that will make you a regular or cinnamon waffle. I don't eat them, but they smelled great. Bunch of nice looking middle eastern young men running the hotel and seemed to be on top of things.
We enjoyed this hotel which is dog friendly. There's a large area behind the hotel with picnic tables and lots of grass. A great pizza place is next door, so take out works well when the weather is pleasant.
We like to stay at Comfort Inns when we travel and this is the first time I have ever given one just 3 stars. It is nice but I expected better for what they charge. The bathroom counter and sink was in the room instead of the bathroom and was very tiny, very little space for a travel kit, even a small one. The light switch for the bathroom was outside the bathroom door--does this make sense? We like to put a night light in the bathroom but there was no outlet for it. The lighting in the room was poor and one of the lights was burned out. I was going to write a note to housekeeping about it and that is when I noticed there was no paper or pen. Housekeeping also neglected to put plastic drinking cups in the room, but we used the coffee cups provided. I appreciate hotels using plastic mattress covers to protect against bedbugs, but the ones here were very noisy. (I know I sound picky but if you read other reviews I have posted you will see I usually write better ones.) We were on our way home from vacation and stopped here because we were getting tired, but it was sub-par for a Comfort Inn. On the plus side, the front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially the morning staff. Overall, I'm glad we only stayed one night.
This Comfort Inn is very new, nicely appointed & well located right off the Interstate. The check in staff were friendly & helpful. Our room was spotless & comfortable. Breakfast is vast, hot & cold items. An excellent choice in the area.
