Clean, up to date, one of the best doubletrees I've stayed at

The hotel was great and parking was easy. My only comment is the bathroom. As a 75-year old, it is not easy to get up off low chairs. I would like to suggest hotels have a seat for the bathroom when toilets are low. I brought my own but I think being able to ask if the hotel has one would be great. My cost around $40 so an inexpensive amenity if necessary. Otherwise we liked the hotel.

Our stay was great just wish there had been a continental breakfast and for a longer stay, a second chair in the room

The hotel staff was so friendly and helpful.i thought the breakfast was a bit expensive for what we had. The rooms were beautiful with all the conveniences one would need.

Very nice hotel right in the downtown area. Parking is convenient too and there are a couple of nice pubs/restaurants in the vicinity. The room are immaculately clean and the inhouse pub/restaurant is nice as well.

This is the third time we stayed at this hotel. Its better every time

Hotel was lovely- new, clean, incredibly comfortable bed. My only minor complaint would be that I could hear people talking out on the street in the wee hours of the morning. Lost Dog Cafe is right across the street so that was great to have a place to eat closeby.

Comfortable, very clean room. Staff especially helpful. Breakfast does cost extra but buffet is reasonable if you want a full breakfast. Access to full gym with great pool. And those Double Tree warm cookies are to die for.

With a big year for the baseball hall of fame inductions the Binghamton area was the closeset availability for a hotel. The hotel was just perfect,

It was a great room, everything was beautiful and clean. The location in Binghamton was nice, although Binghamton is pretty small so anywhere is accessible within 5 minutes. Very enjoyable stay

Everything from making a reservation ( why I made through internet service ) through food and the general noise level in the lobby was poor. Smell of smoke at the entrance was so bad it was enough to make you not want to check in. Service at the restaurant was non existent so we left without eating. Wine list by the glass topped out at $7.00 so for decent glass of wine one needed to leave the hotel. And on and on ....... Management needs to be replaced with new so they can train the staff to be better. This is a older hotel with newer paint and staff that has no hospitality experience.

Nice hotel but breakfast buffet was poor. Food was cold. Had to hunt down wait staff. Hot tea service was horrible. Hot water container not labeled. $22 for two breakfasts. We went to fast food second morning.

Nice room, clean, and no "hotel smell." Big plus. For that alone I gave it 4 stars. Minuses: very, very loud heater in room and hallways. Sounded like water was running constantly, not exactly relaxing. Restaurant was closed because of the holiday, so can't comment on the food. Nice lounge/bar area. Also has fitness center & sauna which was closed for the holiday so can't comment. A good hotel choice because of location, restaurants and shops in walking distance. Good restaurant across the street, Lost Dog Cafe. For breakfast take a short 5 min. drive to Danny's Diner. Small, no-frills, good service. Great for inexpensive, basic breakfast and lunch. Way better than chains, which sadly abound.

The buffet is really, really below par. For a Hilton, and for the amount of money that the buffet costs, that food needed to be several notches above where it was. I didn't eat anything on my plate, no one asked me how it was. I paid for it and still had to go to dunkin donuts to get some real breakfast. Checking out, the man didn't ask me anything about my stay so I didn't tell him. What he did do was call me "sir." I have short hair. I am not a man. Don't use "sir" or "ma'am" if you can't even get a person's gender correct. When he looked up my room number and actually looked me in the face he finally realized I was a woman. He blanched and said nothing. I think that's why he forgot to ask me how my stay was. The room, however, was fine.

Front Desk Staff -Wonderful. Room was well furnished and comfortable but had a lingering "former smoking room" type smell. The room was clean and the hotel is beautiful. We always stay here when visiting family. Would recommend it but would suggest bottled water in the room..for the price of the room..come on!

There was no hot water to shower We had to go off site to shower Toilet was broken Room was unkept Aked for a reduction in price Could not because it was booked through

Friendly staff, very comfortable room and a good location in downtown Binghamton.

Expensive. Nice for Binhamton. Lots of construction still going on. Access to gym and pool which was nice. Be on guard if walking around at night outside

We had stayed at this hotel a year or so ago, before its name change and liked it a lot. With the room upgrades it's really a first class hotel. Rooms are modern and well equipped ... flat screen TV, convenient plugs for computers and other devices that need power as well as a great pool and fitness center. Downtown Binghamton is not a garden spot, but if you need to be there, this is a great place. Friday evening they had live music and dancing which was fun, and it stopped at 11:00 when most folks want to be abed. Only downer for me was the breakfast buffet (not included in the room price) where the eggs were only warm, but it wasn't any cheaper to order from the menu and get something fresh from the kitchen, but more expensive (coffee $3; bagel $2 etc.) But other than not eating breakfast there again, I'll go back, particularly at 139$ per night! Oh yes, and it's dog friendly!

Hotel lobby spacious & modern throughout. Check-in smooth & quick, delicious warm chocolate nut cookies offered. Our room was on upper floor facing the river nice view, room was spacious with 2 double beds nice Evelyn Crabtree toiletries, bed very comfortable, all looks clean & neat except a dirty baby diaper was left behind on the floor, called front desk & was immediately removed (we decided not to switch room) & received complimentary drinks at hotel bistro. For convenience sake we'd had dinner, breakfast & brunch all quite good, loved the ambience. Ample free parking would definitely stay there again. We asked for cookies upon check out & enjoyed it again.ps hotel lobby bar had a 3 piece band on fri & sat night, they very excellent with their songs & instruments wished we could hear more of the, they took a lot of requests & even played an extra 15 min beyond their schedule due to encore. We paid $635 total for 2 rooms for 1 night on graduation weekend.
