Our first stay at Montana Trailhead Inn was excellent! The hotel is beautiful. The lobby area is expansive, comfortable, clean, and inviting. The desk clerks we encountered were friendly and helpful. Check in and out were a breeze. Our room was clean and comfortable. The beds were great. We were so appreciative that our dogs were welcomed to the property. The hot breakfast was a pleasant surprise. There are only a couple of suggestions I have that would have made our nearly perfect stay absolutely perfect: If the pet friendly rooms were located near the exit doors, it would be very helpful when the pups need potty breaks. The breakfast was good. Biscuits and gravy would make it great. I almost automatically add at least one star to my reviews for biscuits and gravy. :) Overall, I would say this is the best value in Billings. Great hotel at a great price. We will definitely stay here again, as we stay in Billings often.

Need ice machines on every floor. I did not tell staff, but there was a ladybug on the white bedspread when we walked in the room. Also there was 2 flying bugs in the curtains. They were not flys. We were tired from a very long drive so I flushed the ladybug, checked for others and went to bed. I couldn't catch the ones in the curtains.
