The manager was great at check in. The power was out for the entire neighborhood but he had all reservations printed out and checked us in efficiently in the dark. One thing not so good -- internet, which might have been connected with problems once the power returned. (but most hotels don't have great internet anyway!)
Our room was sub par. We had to ask for a room change as the bed sunk in the middle and not able to sleep in it. In the new room the bathroom door was coming off the hinges. No towels in pool area when we asked for more she said they would be coming at some point they never came. The carpet was old and dirty.
It was only $75 a night, so you don't really expect much, and that's what you get. It is an old hotel that was renovated 35 years ago and hasn't been touched since. However it is a clean warm bed and there's a pool with a slide for the kids. Good enough.
Very smelly and messy room. They upgraded us after complaining but the upgraded rooms were also as bad.
Very helpful friendly people 🙂
We ended up in town unexpectedly on a busy weekend and this was one of the only places we could find. The place had an older dingy feel to it. For the amount we paid for this very basic room, we felt it could have been more clean.
If you value any type of comfort, DONT STAY HERE. First, the room was freezing, and even after maxing out the heating/AC unit on the wall at 86 degrees it barely got warm in there. Since I was freezing, I wanted to warm up in the shower. BLACK MOLD on the ceiling. Nasty! I turn on the shower faucet and got it to my preferred temp. It stayed at that temp for about five minutes before it decided to go berserk and switch between ice cold and molten lava. Like burn your skin off hot!!! I didn’t touch the handle and it was doing this! There was no comfortable temperature to be found after this! Miserable if you like long hot showers. Lastly, I am sure a kid wouldn’t mind the beds. BUT, I was all but convinced the bed was made out of rocks. Worst nights sleep I’ve ever had. I’m 26 and in good shape and I have never woken up in so much pain merely from sleeping! It was terrible. 0/10 would NEVER recommend. Oh and free continental breakfast?? What a joke! Nothing to drink and all they had was yogurt and sliced bread and a toaster.
The woman at check in kept pulling off her mask. The hotel room had hand prints on the mirror, and trash on the floor in the corner of the room, and smelled weird. The TV didn't work.
Under construction, however no notice of cleaning up around it. Room was filthy and water was shut off. Let front desk know and they seemed truly embarrassed by it. Front staff were extremely friendly and helpful. However, there were old pieces of pizza, and other foods and garbage in the hallways and stairs. Who ever is doing the renovations need fired because they do not know how to clean up after themselves. The water slide was really fun and is what drew us to booking hotel. However, they charge $3 per person to use which they do not advertise that fee.
Water pool was great The breakfast was cold ( gravy) not the best Our room bathroom door was falling apart Scared it'd break apart every time I closed it, so didn't close
Clean and the people who work there are nice. I will stay there again.
Overpriced and room was musty, outlet was broken in room.
Will definitely be staying her again on our next trip.
Breakfast was very good but ran out of coffee cups. Workout room not utilized often as also used for breakfast set up and no water for use during workout. Room very comfortable. Some items update noticeably inexpensively
Purchased room for my son, He says it was so bad he slept in his car.
We drive across country every year and stay here for the water slide and we always have fun. The hotel is otherwise not really nice but it's fine for the price.
Everything you would expect from the shady side of town.
The first room I was in was dirty, couldn't see out the window which didn't have a screen, it had an odor. The bathtub was dirty. Was moved to another room, it was cleaner, however we couldn't get the heater to work.
I booked a room for 2 adults and 1 child. There was no place for a child to sleep, no couch, not even space for a pullout bed. The main light didn't work, the bed light was about to fall off the wall. No vanity space. No garbage in the bathroom. Shower has mold on walls and showerhead. Shower didn't drain well so it was nasty and slippery. Door wouldn't close properly. Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night, and just stopped, with no message if everyone was safe or not. This place needs some major improvements.
