We absolutely loved the hotel!!!!! The staff were so great and treated us great from the moment I called about the shuttle till we left. The hotel is beautiful along with the great beach club. The only complaint we had was the hotel food. We ate lunch at the outside restaurant and both are meals ...
Banyan Bay Suites met all of my expectations! The property is beautiful and the rooms were beautifully decorated with all modern amenities including cable TV fully functional kitchen and two bathrooms and bedrooms. Located right by the beach, there were many activities for kids (fun games), hammocks ...
Overall the Hotel was great! The staff were awesome. The breakfast were great. The only thing I can say that were a problem was the internet signal in the room. Most of the time it was it was very difficult to get internet signal. However, the pro's outweighs to cons. I enjoyed my stay and will stay ...
Resort is beautiful. Water aerobics, pools, kayaks, paddle boards and bikes are available. Restaurant was amazing. Café was good as well. Not a good swimming beach. They offer golf carts for a fee. Snorkeling was awesome; we did both Mexican Rocks and Ho Chan.
The Grand Villas were great for a big room. It's like a rental home with multiple bedrooms, a kitchen, and a living room. Very spacious and clean. Had it's own pool and the beach was right behind it walking distance. Free welcome drink upon checking in at the gazebo by the pool. Not much was happening ...
A group of 12 of us stayed here for a bachelor party. The resort was very accommodating to our needs and more than helpful in planning excursions, renting golf carts, and getting back/forth to San Pedro city from/to our flights. The pool atmosphere was great with onsite bar! The restaurant at the ...
Nice resort on beach, staff helpful. Would stay again. It is a bit out of town. We rented golf cart so it was not bad, we enjoyed the 15 minute drive to town. Had to pay a $2.50 (per way) toll to go over bridge To get to town each day (they were only stopping tourists). Pools nice, resort clean. ...
Just a perfect view of the very calm ocean! The staff was top level. Always happy, friendly and eager to assist! We enjoyed snorkeling, scuba, kayaking in the ocean and zip lining in the rainforest. The swim up bar afforded the opportunity to make 18 new friends. We will plan to return by next year.
Very nice small resort / condo property located just north of town, so easy access to all the shopping and services of town, but away from the busy and noise. Had ocean front 2 bedroom unit on 2nd floor, 50 feet from the ocean in front and 50 feet from the pool behind. Small sports bar next to the pool, so drinks and appetizers were super convenient. Pool is small, but definitely adequate, and was never crowded. Had a few small quirks when we checked in, that the resort people took care of immediately. Very nice staff and management. Property located on the main road for the island, (the only paved road) easy to go anywhere. Get a golf cart, the only form of transportation available, and explore, explore, explore. People of Belize were the nicest, kindest people on any Caribbean island we have visited. Although it is not a wealthy island, don't let the look of the place bother you. We felt very safe everywhere we went. We planned to be back at the condo by 7:00 in the evenings, but that's us on any vacation because stumbling around in the dark is not our thing. We could still hang out at the sports bar, and there was always ex-pats there to talk to and get their perspective. Don't miss Secret Beach. Long bumpy ride but worth it. Food was good everywhere we went. Prices in tourist areas are not cheap. Local stores, grocery, restaurants, etc can be much cheaper. Everyone speaks English. US dollars accepted everywhere. Exchange rate fixed at $1 US to $2 BZ
Tranquil, relaxing and amazing visit! You are in the remoteness of the jungle with the safety of the staff and rooms. The rooms have all that you need and while not a luxury resort, it has all that one needs and is very clean and well looked after. We were lucky to stay in one of the bungalows behind the restaurant and it was huge! There was a screened in porch if you wanted to be outside but not in the rain or at night and not fighting the bugs. The nearby trails were amazing! Some more difficult than others, but each adventurer should have their own adventure so I won't say too much about that... the wildlife is plentiful and if you want a true rain forest experience-- this place is for you! Ohhh and the food was excellent!! The staff always helpful and accommodating-- highly recommend this place!!
Friendly hotel but the rooms are a bit dated. Staff is very accommodating I’d stay there again.
