Very nice amenities, good food, safe easy access.
It was a beautiful place! However, everything was so expensive that it was a stressful experience. The location of the resort does not have any stores nearby and only had 2 restaurants within walking distance. The room also did not have a microwave or coffee maker. The hotel restaurant stopped serving food at 8:30 pm and because there was no microwave we were unable to find food without walking to another restaurant that was 3/4 of a mile away. There was also a $50 per day resort fee that was charged upon arrival. I did not know about this fee and would have stayed at another resort in a more centralized location had I known. The private beach was a unique experience but it closes at 5pm due to the sun setting and once you’re back at the resort there isn’t much to do. For the money spent per day, you’re better off staying at a different resort closer to town.
Me and my wife had a great time and we will come back
Great sense of arrival at this property. Nice and secluded but a little further from town, relatively speaking. Most of the shacks were going under renovation when we visited, unfortunately, so we didn't get a chance to visit all of the restaurants at the resort. The Taco Shack was open though - we went there almost every morning. It is very close to Hidden Treasures Restaurant - fantastic dinner spot, highly recommended. Highlights for this resort: Awesome accommodating staff, awesome pool, fantastic beach club (reserve a cabana for a half day for only $40).
This was our third stay at this property. In the past times we were thrilled and loved it, since COVID things have changed. The staff did not seem as happy, mold growing in the sink despite having our room cleaned multiple times, cabinets falling and breaking in room, their bar was always out of supplies to make drinks. There are no windows on their cottages, it’s a screen with wooden shutters over them, in return you hear everything outside. They allowed people to play loud music and party outside their cottages until nearly midnight, which means no sleep for anyone in neighboring cottages. Lastly, the food trucks that they mention being on site, are nearly never open. There’s approximately 5 of them and only 2 were opened for our week long trip. We won’t be back to this property but will be back to San Pedro.
I´d really liked the installations of the hotel, nice, quiet, clean and the staff was the best
Paid extra for a kitchenette but there was no microwave, stove or any way to call it a kitchenette. Did not feel it was worth the upgraded room at all
Aesthetically nice but customer service and guest experience sucks.
I enjoyed the private island vibe and the overall cleanliness of the property as it relates to trash. I was disappointed with their dust control in the buildings due to the graveled paved property; a lot of dirt is tracked into the facilities, including the rooms. No microwave or stovetop was available in the kitchenette suits. My room had issues with the locks, for which, when reported to security, there was no follow-up. Housekeeping left only one towel and no other replacement linens in the room, and there were two occupants. Upon arrival, we were assisted to our cottage with our bags, but no offer was made to help transport our luggage back to the front desk upon checkout. We had to walk across campus, pulling our luggage across the graveled compound. The bathroom was not adequately cleaned by housekeeping from the previous users. On checkout front desk didn't ask for feedback on stay.
I liked the property but our AC broke down for one night and they charged us GST twice (which I am still trying to resolve). Loved the food, staff and proximity to activities. (And their private beach.)
Great place to stay with attentive staff, good food, nice accommodations and beautiful views.
Charming upscale cottages, amenities including a private beach, and a superb, service oriented staff made this a great vacation. Felt like I was leaving family at the end of my stay. Definitely recommend getting a golf cart if you want to see most of the island, although taxis readily available and affordable.
This property is possibly the most expensive place I've ever stayed, but you get what you pay for. Check floorplan before booking, because some rooms are smaller, but we booked a room about 700 sq.ft, including a screen porch for enjoying mosquito-free moments outside. Food is excellent (high prices). The pool and private beach are wonderful. Everyone rents a golf cart to explore around town. Awesome adventure excursions are handled by on-site Tuff-E-Nuff tours on site. I couldn't be happier with our choice to stay here!
The rooms did not have enough supplies (paper towels, trash bags etc). The dryer did not dry items as it should and required at least 7 cycles just to get thoroughly dried. The resort seemed understaffed. They did not tell us where to get towels for the pool, the WiFi was insufficient and dropped often, the front desk did not always answer the phone, and the food and drinks were way overpriced and was subpar.
Stunning property with wonderful staff. Cottages are charming, quaint and clean. View of the sunset from the patio restaurant was unbeatable! Tuff E Nuff took us out to the reef for a full day trip of snorkeling, swimming with sharks and a stop at Caye Caulker. Sherri, the tour guide was AMAZING!! She had a wealth of knowledge about sea life, great communication and people skills and a genuine live for her country! I could go on and on about her! She’s a natural!! All in all, a magical trip!
Townhouse style lodging was unique. Their private beach made our stay well worth it. You will need to rent a golf cart during your stay if you want to come and go in and out of the town. Walking is out of question. Remember there's $50 a day resort fee.
This property is a beautiful little world unto itself. They seem to still be putting some of the finishing touches on the property, so there is some construction going on. I loved the little villas instead of hotel rooms-I don't know if the pictures do them justice. They have string lights on the trees at night and it really creates a beautiful atmosphere. The pool area was very nice and dining offered some standard foods as well as Belizian fare. You really don't have to go off of the grounds to have access to a variety of restaurants and bars, and there were shops with local art and jewelry. The resort is about a 20 minute golf cart/cab ride from the drop-off at the water taxi terminal. I would try to arrange to have a cab to come pick you up to take you if you can. Having a credit card and some cash on hand will help you to experience everything- one night we tried to get food at a stand but they were operating on a cash-only basis. Some places take US cash and Belizean money, some are specific to one. It's good to have both if you can. Outlets are standard US type A and B; you won't need adaptors. Bug spray is a must-the mosquitos are hungry!

Good Day Lindsay,I am sorry to hear that you felt this way about your stay. I do apologize on the closing hours of the restaurant and not having a microwave in the room. Please note none of our units comes with a microwave in them. The resort fee was shown on your hotel confirmation to be paid on the property and I apologise as well if you did not see that at the time of booking. Please know that we do take your feedback seriously and aim to address them with our team.
