rooms were in bad shape had to be moved from a room into another when ac leaded everywhere, second room has circuit breakers with expose wires in the closet, live wires in the closet next to the safe is wild easily could have ben electrocuted, rooms very run down pictures make this a catfish hotel
It was ok
The Ramada has a great location and a decent casino. The conditions were a bit beat up, needs a renovation. The staff were friendly. Decent deal for the money
Had some areas that needed maintenance due to wet spots and mold. Room smelt like it was locked up for a long period. Should have had some air circulation prior to checkin
Nothing unique really loved the pool area
Very disappointing for a Ramadan and what we expected for a hotel. Were short towels in our room and when we asked for one more towel and a face wash towel they were all dirty in the laundry room and couldn’t be supplied one more. Went down to book a spa service based on the pamphlet in our room and was sent on a wild goose chase. They sent us to the nail and makeup salon and told us to ask them if they have those services, they said they haven’t gotten the licensing for it but there is a spa upstairs that does. Went out and another worker told us yes they do, but the lady for the spa upstairs works at another hotel and isn’t here unless pre booked appointments. Went to dinner at the calypso and were told they close at 9, went at 8:45 to get some more drinks and they were already closed. Guy at front desk basically said too bad. Breakfast the next morning: there was a hair on one of our hot dogs, lipstick stains on a glass, white strings in another, and black chunks in the creamer. Shuttle for the airport is also broken so had to find other transportation.
By far this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at with my family. The room was itself was out dated and there was no microwave but there was a fridge. Also the bathroom tub was horrible you wouldn’t want to set foot in it. Worst part I ask to see another room and it was worst than the first room. I would not be returning sadly and I am a proud Belizean but ashamed of this hotel!
Even though The Princess Hotel may need few cosmetic improvements it will not stop my family from staying their again. All the staffs was awesome and food were delicious.🙏💕🙏
Granted we stayed at the Princess during a pandemic, so everything was shut down. We had a few friends staying in different rooms, but ours was the worst. Terrible lighting, cold showers, broken toilet. Like most structures in Belize, the building is a bit broken down and the sign's lights burnt out. We complained several times about the quality of the room, but were not given a discount or a room change even though the hotel was mostly empty. I'm sure the casino and restaurant and pool are nice when it's fully open but we did not get to enjoy them.
Very budget hotel seemed out of the 90s, bed was super comfy
been there 12 times ,,,, pool .....ocean view breakfast buffet nice staff
It’s definitely seen a hurricane or two in its day... in major need of an upgrade or at lease ya fresh coat of paint. But the staff were wonderful and the insight restaurant calypso was nice as well!
Great stay, our hotel room was clean and beautiful with a great view of the ocean. Good location, great staff, breakfast was delicious and healthy with lots of vegan options. Definitely would love to come back.
The ocean view was lovely, but the location is not safe for travelers. Even with keyed entry to get up the elevators, we still had our room broken into and money stolen while at dinner. The manager was very kind and looked up the record of the keyed entries into our room and didn't find anything, but we never found the money or the purse.
