The free breakfast was very good. The personnel at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Out room was clean but the bathroom had tiles missing around the base near the floor and left a gaping hole. Several of the lamps didn’t work or if they did, they blinked on and off. We were in town for a funeral so it served our purpose since we were not on the room except to sleep and shower.

Everything was great about the property except the smell in my room. I was in room 115 on the first floor. Being near the pool entrance and close to the breakfast in the morning was great. However, my room.smelled like mold very heavily. It made me nauseous. I did ask to be moved and the front desk staff offered to move me to room 113 right next door but that room.smelled even worst like stale, mold. I would recommend requesting a room not on the first floor if you have a sensitive nose to smell. Also I recommend they put new carpeting, and get rid of the heavy mold smell in the first floor rooms near the pool.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, we felt safe and comfortable. The lady who was in charge of breakfast was extremely nice, helpful, and attentive, making our mornings even better. We truly appreciated her kindness. The hotel is older even though it has been remodeled at some point. The room and hallway had a very unpleasant odor that smelled very similar to urine. The on duty staff were told but did not seem to be concerned about it. Normally I am very pleased with holiday inn express but was very disappointed in this particular hotel.
