Belle of Baton Rouge Casino Hotel

Room did not get cleaned for two days without calling desk. Mildew in bathrooms food choices terrible. No apogoly received from management and no credit of any type offered. Staff would go on break and close down gift shop or other areas that should have staff

Should have stayed anywhere else. Took over an hour to check in. Very dirty, even after hotel staff "cleaned" the room. Didn't change the sheets for the entire stay(5days). Only gave us new towels once :(

Everything seems and dirty. The bartenders are like snails and not properly trained by any means. So sad. The casino is so gross! I'd never stay again.

staff not helpfull not friendly could care less about your needs. shuttle pick us up but did not take us to airport to depart. said it was to early. cost 25.00 for cab

I was surprised to see the Casino was right on the river, we had to ride on a cart to go to the Casino, It was right on the Mississippi River, I was told it used to be a boat but now it is stablelized it does not go out. We had vouchers to play and we won, also the free drinks were great!! I would definately go back.

We stopped here overnight on a road trip. The price was nice and the hotel was nice. It was quieter than I expected due to its close proximity to a casino! The staff was friendly and helpful.

There were roaches in the room I reserved, wasn't able to transfer to another room and because I came in town at a late time I was forced to stay there

Very clean, staff very helpful and really kind the parking was a slight problem but over all very satisfactory

Roaches!! I checked out a day early. It was disgusting!! Moved to another hotel.

The room was clean and comfortable. Somethings needed a bit of upkeep, such as paint in the bathroom where there are some small places starting to chip. They did use a lot of air freshner.

Everything sucked. Seriously. Terrible staff, outdated rooms, dirty linen

The hotel itself is fine. Clean rooms, good wi-fi, easy check-in & check-out & nice atrium. Parking was inconvenient at best. The lot they sent us to was completely full, with people parking in the driving areas waiting for a spot to open up. So you have to drive around the block and find the garage, which is open to anyone (not just hotel guests).

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is not in the best condition & the lobby, hallways and room all have an unpleasant smell. We reserved a non smoking room and our room reeked of cigarettes. Our room wasn't the dirtiest I have ever been in, but it was far from being the cleaniest either. We were given vouchers towards the onsite restaurants, but opted not to eat there because if our room wasn't very clean, the kitchen may not be all that clean either. We were only passing through, so we only stayed one night and that room was good for one night. I wouldn't recommend staying there longer.

Room was infested with roaches. I killed one; the 2d one slipped away, and instead of killing the 3rd, I brought him down to the front desk in a cup. Needless to say, we checked out without spending the night

I expected a great stay. Upon arrival at the check in the front desk clerk had an attitude, and the other lady on side of her was rude to another visitor during check in. The hall area to get to my room smelled foul. My room ceiling was leaking water, and the tub had hair strands in it. The wall also had hair strands. I truly expected a amazing stay, but I was disappointed. Check out was at 11am and I checked out at 9:30am.

Bad parking, bad elevator, bad TV, roach on A/C, nice staff. My husband uses a cane and we had to park in parking garage and walk the entire length of hotel/casino b/c parking was so limited. After seeing roach, we couldn't sleep! Try staying elsewhere!

Overall, hotel and casino are outdated. Musky smelling and not very clean except for hotel lobby and restaurant.

I just stayed overnight driving through the area but the hotel looks very nice, the room was in great shape. I was pleasantly surprised that breakfast started at 6:30, since it says 7 on the website.

The staff seems put out to help anyone. The only enthusiastic employees we encountered were the valet and one of the people servicing the breakfast buffet. We understand the bar and the Shucks restaurant are not under the hotels management but the are still a part of the face of the hotel. The common behavior by the hotel and wait staff was they were being put out. I should've taken photos of the dirty room and taken names of the unhappy staff members. We were not there for the hotel thankfully but for a family celebration else where.

Security wa my only concern. A one time occurrence whereas a lady on a hotel cart, not security, opened the parking gate for an individual who did not have or know the passcode. He asked me for passcode but I referred him to front desk. When asking the cart driver, she opened the gate to let him and one other car through. This is a concern due to the violence and terrorism concern in public places. I expressed that to her but she just smiled at me with no concern. I stay at this hotel for the security that parking ( I thought) offered. Management should address this concern with employees.
