This hotel was overall great, the staff was extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating when it came to us asking for a late checkout so we didn’t have to go sit at the airport all day. It is in a very convenient location, definitely walking distance to a lot of places to eat, sightsee and just wonder around, there was always scooters available so that was amazing. I would rate our experience a 10/10, we will definitely be back!

Uncomfortable

The front desk attendant was great! The hotel, not so much. There was an odor as I walked down the hall to the my room. The smell resembled that of something (like a rug) that was wet and aged. When inside my room, I was very uncomfortable with the thought that this is what I have to sleep in. It was an old room, old furniture, and just uncomfortable. After a few minutes, I went back to the front desk and requested another room. The attendant was great and gave me another room immediately. She was so kind. I went upstairs to the 2nd floor and entered the room only to find the same discomfort and a whole in the curtain in the bedroom. I immediately went downstairs and told the attendant that I will not be staying at this hotel because I am uncomfortable. I thanked her all for all of her help and then I exited the hotel.

Very disappointing stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott. So many "little" things ruined our weekend. The pool was closed, the printer was out of toner, our air conditioning wouldn't go lower than 77°, our room smelled musty, the shower head didn't work, 3 light switches controlled nothing, we asked for fans and were brought one clean fan and one absolutely filthy fan that wreaked of chemicals, there was water leaking from the ceiling in the hallway on Friday, the floor was soaking wet, there were 3 trash cans put out to catch water and were still there on Sunday morning, one of the exterior doors was held open by a small twig because the card reader didn't work, the wall decor had water damage, the mirrors were damaged all along the sides, the bedroom door didn't close properly without being forced, the TV didn't work, there were tears in the curtains, the caulk around the kitchen sink needs attention and there was mold on the wooden containers in the breakfast area. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone or stay here in the future.
We asked for a fan after our a/c could not be fixed and no other room was available. It was absolutely filthy and smelled of chemicals.
Kitchen sink caulking needs attention.
Air conditioning would not go lower than 77°. Maintenance couldn't fix it. This is in AUGUST.

Pool was out of service. Grounds werent well kept. First floor always smelled like weed. I had to ask for additional towels and toilet paper. The phones did not work in the room and mold was in the bathroom ceiling.

Breakfast was great. The location was by lots of great restaurants. The beds were comfortable. Didn't like the idea of walking through the bedrooms to get to the bathroom. Loved the vent in the bathroom!

It was so-so

The room was missing art on the wall above the bed, like it had been ripped off and not replaced. The sofa bed was in terrible condition and had springs sticking up that could be felt through the sheets. The sofa pillows didn’t smell clean. Someone banged on our door and woke us up at 3am.

Worst RI I have occupied

I always try to stay in a Residence Inn whenever possible. I like the option of a full size refrigerator and a microwave. I have cooked in the available kitchen in the past. Unfortunately, this particular Residence Inn was wholly disappointing. Unclean, unkempt and overall lack of attention to detail. This Residence Inn was the worst RI I have purchased a room with. I also believe it is the worst 3-star hotel I have experienced. The ceiling in the bathroom had mold on 1/4 of the entire surface. The carpet looked as if it had been repaired, but the repair did not match. If this were a 1- or 2- star hotel, some of disrepair could be overlooked, as long as the room was clean and bug-free. Additionally, the were some individuals playing basketball in the outdoor court, directly next to the hotel. These individuals were playing until past 10pm and if we hadn't said something to the front desk, I believed they would have continued into the night. The bed (king) was acceptable, but that is perhaps the only positive point I am able to put forth. I will never (!) stay at this RI again. I am also a member of Hilton Hotels and have yet to experience such disrespect toward a customer, by having a facility in such a condition as this RI.
