When I checks in the lady at the front desk was mad because I disturbed her for my key to my room. The windows do it shut all the way. The air conditioner/ heater don’t work. There is ticks in the grass
Bed Bugs need I say more and all they do is give you the runaround even when you call corporate I photographed and documented all the bite marks the whole time I've been here on an assignment which is a good 2 months I'm thinking I'm having allergic reaction to something and lo and behold I was getting bitten up by bed bugs the whole time what they will do is change a room and give your stuff a heat treatment but whatever gets shrunk by the heat treatment and damage to your belongings they are not replacing some of the people here are nice and some of them are very rude
I am happy to see that Shawn is back from vacation. She is pleasant and most dedicated and hard working employee at this location. The hotel services has improved greatly with room for further improvement looking forward to that. Housekeeper zayra another pleasant and hard working employee who always has a smile.
I've been to ESA in both Linthicum and Germantown, and was not entirely happy at either. But am always satisfied with Columbia Gateway. Room is clean, and so is the air (these other two places we're slightly smelly and damp with air-c running). Staff is truly professional and courteous here. It's my first and only choice when in this area of the state.
It has all the amenities of home but could use some tender love and care with a little elbow grease. Definitely needed a new carpet, new paint and better plastering but it was cozy and had the necessities to keep you comfortable-especially when traveling with a baby.
Not quite what you would expect for a longer term stay. As humans we have needs for a clean room at the least and clean towels, if you don't clean the room all week, then one starts feeling like a homeless. Its not like we have the equipment to clean the room. Rooms should definitely have the kitchen equip with more utensils, the ones you don't have to ask for in reception. Carpets need deep cleaning, and if I request a non-smoking room I expect to not have neighbors who are doing so. For 1850 dollars for 26 days, at least a station to work on I'd expect. A camper outside taking up 6 parking's is insane. No fax available when most cheaper places have it, is a shocker. People in the reception should be more friendly,(not just to there friends who come by) we actually got scared with one of the persons who works here, cant give the details really wouldn't want to be killed by them later. Requested another room and reception said no, unless I paid more!
Stayed in Extended Stay for two nights. Very much clean and simple. People were excellent. Service quality was pretty good. Well connected and located. Shops are available near by. Very calm and quiet place.
The hotel is in a great location, the rooms are very spacious. I enjoy the kitchen and the fitness center (event though it's small). But I really enjoy how the staff interact with me and make me feeling like I am home. I came here from Italy andare I miss home But everyone here make me feel good andare In will miss everyone here.. Eunice the manager she is awesome, Sophia the from desk is great andare the otterrete staff.. I really Love triste place 😍😍
Do not recommend! This was a last minute stay over as we had a soccer tournament nearby but didn't know what time our Sunday game was until later on Saturday. This was the only hotel with 6 rooms available near the tournament. We checked in front desk staff was nice and friendly and she was able to put all of us together on the same floor which was great. Hotel room was ok, it was clean but seemed dingy and had a faint smell of cigarette smoke even tho it said it was a non smoking room. No dishes or silverware tho which I thought was odd given there was a full kitchen. I needed a glass and had to go ask for one. Another oddity, was given only a little shampoo bottle no conditioner. Anyway, on to the reason for the post. About 1030pm I get a notification from our team, it's a mom about 7 doors down, she found bed bugs and was moving rooms. They moved her to a new room and that one had them too. She eventually left and went back home. Needless to say after all that she and her daughter didn't return for our 8am game either. The picture I'm including shows the bugs. I looked around my room didn't find any. When I did get home I washed everything in hot water just to be safe. No other parent found any either. But from the picture the room they were in had them bad.
No one knows what's going on. The manager isn't there when I called. One person says the manager works from 7 to 3 another persons says they start at 9. No one else could do anything without the manager. There needs to be an alternate to handle business when the manager isn't there. How about one manager working from 7 to 3 and another one working from noon to 8. A lot of coverage there and good customer service. Disgusted.
