This hotel is just horrible. It's filthy. The staff isn't motivated. The internet is too slow. The hallways aren't air/conditioned. This place is only good if you want a place to sleep. Don't try to do work or watch internet TV here.
They say one thing and do another. When I got there they have spiders in the bed I said something to them they act like it was problem and they need to clean there carpet it was nasty and dirty. Thanks
My husband and I were celebrating our 34th Wedding Anniversary really enjoyed our stay even though it was just one night happy about choosing Extended Stay America, will definitely stay again 👍🏿👍🤗🤗
Booked a room for 5 nights for a workshop so what I was looking for was a quiet place close to where I needed to be during the day. This place offered just that. Staff are friendly and forthcoming, the place is clean, and both kitchen and laundry facilities are good. Breakfast is grab-and-go, basically instant oatmeal, several shrink wrapped pastries, and coffee - this could be something more wholesome, esp. if you don't have time to prepare breakfast yourself. Otherwise, very good value.
As I'm working on my macbook the cleaning person knocks on the door once (only once), and quickly opens the door not even a second after knocking, by the time I ran to the door the door was already halfway open. Keep in mind I'm in my private space, wearing only a bra and shorts (since AC was also bad) and this person doesn't even say sorry, just stands there for a moment and says 'umm...I need to come in and clean the room;' Now I'm not the type to be rude and shut the door on someone's face but at that point I was feeling embarrassed since I felt the eye gazing on me so at that point I just hid behind the door and said 'Can you just skip this room please.' You're probably thinking 'Why didn't you just put the do not disturb sign?' the thing is, they don't even give you one! As I was walking out of the hotel another person was asking for one on the front desk. I still feel violated and as if that wasn't bad enough the staff and mainly the manager were mean. Everything looks so outdated and I would even say ugly/cheap mainly the cabinets. Would not recommend this place
Rooms were small. For an extended stay facility you had to ask the front desk for a fork, spoon, plate, etc. NOTHING was available in the room, not even paper towels. BUT THERE WERE ANTS...all over the kitchen counter. We had to get a can of ant spray. The bed was not a king, not a queen, but a DOUBLE. A/C only worked sometime, certainly not at night. The exhaust fan in the bathroom made noise 24-7 even when off. The bath faucet wouldn't shut off completely. Breakfast is listed as available, but it's barely breakfast. Pre-packaged banana or chocolate muffins, granola-type bars, pre-packaged oatmeal. Coffee was available, but runs out midway through the published hours. Probably will not stay again as there are lots of options in the area and I'm willing to pay more for a quality facility.
We will start off with the good points, the staff was extremely friendly and tried to be as helpful as they could. The size of the room is large. And there was no problem with parking. However, this hotel is in a bad need of a makeover. The rooms are extremely dated with odd smells. There seem to be some type of water damage in the first room that I was in. However there was a very bad odor in that room along with the bathroom fan having an extremely loud noise when you turned it on. The staff did allow me to look at another room to see if that would be better. The room that I moved to had no smell and the fan worked as well. The room was clean, clean sheets etc. in previous extended-stay's that I have been in all of the dishes toaster silverware dish drain stuff like that was already in the unit this particular one you had to get it at the front desk and haul it up to your room. This would not be a place out stay at again. Very cheap however the pictures on the website are deceiving. Excellent staff!!
The breakfast could have been better. There should have been more put out. I have stay in better extended stays that served the customer more in the morning that had breakfast bars. Also the room didn't have all the untensils needed. Had to keep going down stairs to obtain the items needed to cook.
Very clean and quiet. The location was in a good area to 95 and downtown! Extra clean and newly renovated. I extended an extra night with no problem. I will look for this hotel again next time i'm in town.
Would not stay here again. Not too much in immediate area to walk to for food. Pictures on website of the room looked nice. No hairdryer in room. Bottled water for grab n go offerings would have been nice.
