Camped for only 3 nights to visit cousins staying there for a month. We had NO CABLE although they list it as an amenity. The jacuzzi jets were not working (and haven’t been for quite some time per the long timers). Garbage is only picked up three times a week and only dumpsters are down a short gravel road. We paid $80 for full hookups before our Good Sams discount. Had we stayed a month it was much cheaper. Seems they like the long timers......lots of nice gazebos for them. Small cement slab and a picnic table for us. Even driveway was gravel....... disappointed for the money.

It's been a couple of years since we stayed at this RV park, and we had hoped that some of the problems would have been addressed. The gravel sites are reasonably level, but suffered a lot during a heavy rain storm and no maintenance work was done on them in in the week following while we were there. Maintenance seems to be an overall ongoing problem and there are definitely more issues than during our previous visit. There are a lot of permanent/long-term tenants (as was obvious by the clutter around many of them) who obviously tolerate these issues, although many were absent during our visit. Our reservation also was done incorrectly, with the dates off by a month. That meant that we had to change sites in the middle of our stay. And, the internet service is still poor and quit entirely twice while we were there - once in each area of the park where we stayed. But the cable network was much improved, although the channel guide only roughly matched the actual channels. As others have noted, trash is collected daily, but if you want drop something off, the only set of dumpsters is at the back end of the park and often filled to overflowing, even during the off-season when we were there. The heat in the A area bathrooms and laundry never worked - not good with temperatures in the 30's. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but there are obviously more issues than they can handle. We will look for a better alternative to this rather pricey, less-than-excellent (albeit quiet) RV park for our next visit to the Austin area.

I have family just a few minutes from the Resort and have stayed here several times. I brought my 85 year old mother the day after Christmas and we stayed 3 nights with my little fur baby. It was great! We had a 2 bedroom cabin and just as clean and quite as it has always been. Beds were clean and comfortable. We prepared a couple of evening meals for family and had to borrow a 9x13 pan from them but other than that we had everything we needed. I will be staying there again. I would love to have a full size mirror and hooks beside the door would be great for jackets and bags.

We met my Dad from Houston in Austin. We had our B+ Class RV and rented a spot adjacent to a cottage rented for him. The spot was fairly level (although it had rained a lot and the dirt/rock pad had some erosion in places as the water drained off). The site had full-hookups that worked well. The cottage was well maintained with two separate bedrooms. It was small, as is expected in these types of cottages. We had our three dogs, and there was a decent fenced area for exercise. There are a number of full-time residents here but they looked well maintained. We noticed a pool area but did not utilize it. Overall a good stay with no issues.

We stayed here for 4 days and will be back. The reservations were easy to make, the park is spotless, all of the staff were friendly and helpful. We called for help getting the TV and Wi-Fi set up and someone was there within 10 min. The hot tub heater and pump was not working, but being July the water was warm enough. We did not use the pavilion, but another family was using it on Sunday for a family reunion and at the pool were making comments that it was very hot inside, because the air conditioner wasn't working. Summer time in Texas, the AC should have been fixed before those visitors arrived.

This was our first visit to La Hacienda and we stayed for 3 months! This RV resort is very clean and very well run. The staff is so nice. Norma the manager is top notch. The pool area is very nice. I wish there could be an adult time at the pool and hot tub. That would be my only suggestion. Sometimes too many young kids were in hot tub and small heated pool. The only other complaint is about guests that don't clean up after their dog and people that let their dogs off leash. That's not the parks fault it is bad dog owners. When I reported an incident, it was taken care of promptly. I can't wait to go back in February.

We recently stayed at La Hacienda in our 5th wheel RV. The pull through site we had was extra large allowing our 40' 5th wheel, Ram 3500 long bed, and a third vehicle to all fit "end to end"! The facilities/amenities were exceptional and we used the 24 hour workout gym often. The manager Norma and her staff were awesome making my wife and I feel very much at home throughout our entire stay! I would highly recommend RV-ing at La Hacienda!

A fantastic experience! Everyone, and I mean everyone, makes you feel welcome and appreciated here at La Hacienda RV Resort. That explains why it is so fantastic when you can book a long term stay here. We've been here a few months, and absolutely NO complaints. Every experience is superb. There are RV Parks, and then there is La Hacienda which is in a league of its own. We moved here when we sold our house to give us time to find just the right place, but darn, this is such a wonderful place, it makes us wonder if we really want a house.

This is an RV Resort. This ws our second visit here in 2 years. The first time the pool was being remodeled, now it is done and it is very enjoyable. We stayed for 7 days to visit our friends in Austin. The restrooms and laundry are very clean and the resort is kept up well. There does seem to be a lot of full timmers and permanent residence. But we felt at home with everyone

We stayed in the cabins- two adults and a teenager. The first night we stayed in a cabin with a loft which our teenager loved. We were there with other family members, but were put in that cabin by mistake. They immediately changed us to a cabin closer to where our family was staying and gave us a discount for the inconvenience of the mix up. They have a really well kept dog park and dog wash station. The grounds are very nice! The cabins have all you need (including a kitchen) and are a little small but more cozy than anything else. The beds are quite comfortable. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend it.
