The room had been renovated/refurbished and was lovely. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were generally very helpful. I haven't tried the restaurant. For a good value, comfortable place to stay in Auckland Rose Park Hotel is a positive choice.

(1). The room was freezing cold. Air con was complicated to operate. (2). Room lacked black-out window coverings Room was far too light, especially with a large very strong light on all nite which was situated immediately outside the window. (3). Room was noisy in the early hours of the morning with the sounds of people traversing the floor above. This room is to be avoided at all cost.

Great location neat clean and tidy, no extra frills. Entertainment and TV options limited. Room seating was uncomfortable hard chair and the casual seat was thin and uncomfortable. Overall okay and served its purpose.

Room was clean, everything was great. Good customer service. Rooms relatively nice and upgraded inside. Toilet door was a bit weird, was a sliding door and would slide back open if not locked. Was a mission to lock it and then to unlock it (i did get locked in there for a minute) i didnt want to bother reception about it - got it sorted in end Never the less, i really enjoyed my stay - thanks
